Greetings in the most matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” We are the inheritance of God the Father. On this earth, the property of the father is shared by his sons and daughters. If it has to go to others, one has to make a ‘will’. But, for our own children we need not make a will, as automatically all property goes to them. Similarly, we have to become the children of God and live a righteous and perfect life in order to receive our spiritual heritage.
Jesus says in John 21:5 “Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.” Jesus calls His disciples “friends” in John 15:15 and “children” in John 21:5. When you and I meet Jesus during His second coming, we must be called His children. To become His children, we have to believe in His name and have faith in Him. Those who believe in Him have the right to be called His children. When we become His children, then He will become our Father.
When we become His children, God the Father expects something from us. What is it that He expects? He expects that we love Him with our whole body, mind and soul and He expects that we bring perishing souls to His saving grace. When even one soul is saved, there is rejoicing in heaven. Luke 15:7 “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
How many of us can truly commit ourselves to doing this? By saying “I am His daughter” or “I am His son” we do not become His children, but it is when we fulfil His commandments that we become His sons and daughters. Hence let us commit ourselves to Him by loving Him with our whole body, mind and soul and by trying to bring the broken-hearted, the thirsty and the hungry to His saving grace.
1 John 3:1-3 “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
Dearly beloved, we are all like His children today so let us continue till our dying breath to do the will our Heavenly Father.
May the God bless you through this magazine till we meet again.

Praise the Lord. I was suffering from severe and unbearable acidity. I tried having soda to release the gas but it was of no use. Finally my wife applied prayer oil all over my chest and stomach. By God’s grace I could sleep peacefully the entire night. I praise and glorify Lord for this miracle. I also thank Pastor Saroja for praying for the prayer oil.

Praise the Lord. My family and I regularly watch the Rose of Sharon TV program on Shubhsandesh Channel. I come from a Hindu family, but we believe on Lord Jesus as He has worked wondrously in our life through the prayers of ROS ministries.
One day when I got up in the morning, I noticed unusual changes in my body. My stomach had bloated, I had high fever and black patches on my face. My daughter contacted the ROS helpline at that time and requested prayers for me and the prayer warrior prayed for me. The next morning I was completely healed and became normal.
My daughter who is 16 years old was not well and behaving abnormally. At times she would cry through the day and have suicidal thoughts. We asked for prayers again from the ROS helpline and Lord Jesus healed her from the demonic attack. Now she attends school regularly.
My husband Gulshan who was seeing these miracles in our family, slowly began to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He was suffering from an acute piles problem along with bleeding since his childhood and had taken many medicines but to no avail. He now stopped all medication and instead asked for prayers from the ROS team. Within a few days his symptoms started subsiding. Now he is completely healed from the piles problem. I give all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ for doing these great miracles in our life and I also thank the ROS prayer team for praying for us.

Praise the Lord. My mother was having a lump in her throat due to pus formation. The doctor advised us to do a CT scan, post which he told us to hospitalise her. She also had a severe itching problem on the area surrounding her throat, chest and hands. I told Pastor Saroja about the same and she advised me to apply prayer oil on my mother’s throat, chest and hands and wherever she had the itching. After applying the prayer oil, the pus formation subsided, the wound dried up and the lump reduced completely in two weeks time and we did not have to hospitalise her. We greatly thank our Lord Jesus and Pastor Saroja for her advise and her assured prayers for mummy and our family always.

Praise the Lord. These testimonies are to give glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I have been suffering from Diabetes since the past 23 years. During this time I have led a normal life even though my sugar was never really in control. Of late, my sugar rose to an alarming level of 300 and on taking my recent health tests, I was afraid of damage to my internal organs (especially the kidneys and heart). Though my sugar showed a high average, my heart and kidney parameters were normal, such that our consulting doctor expressed wonder at the fact that in spite of so many years of abuse to my body by not controlling my sugar effectively, my organs were in good shape.
We are truly blessed to be able to attend the Fasting prayer weekend services every month over the past many years and the prayer oil is something we rely on for every small issue we face. This testimony vouches for the fact that whenever and wherever I have been applying it, the healing occurs… whichever part of the body it touches – it heals, as long as faith is present. I can only give glory to my Lord for His kindness, mercy and grace upon me. A special thanks to Pastor Saroja for her earnest prayers made for me over all these years, which has sustained me spiritually and physically.
*Bro. Ramiah Daniels, Bangalore.
Praise the Lord. I want to testify on behalf of my elder son Shankar. He was jobless for six months and we underwent severe financial problems due to this. One day while eating breakfast, Pastor asked me why I was eating biscuits instead of the usual chapattis. I told her my son was jobless and he had attended many interviews with no success. Pastor assured me of her prayers. Praise God, the very next day he got a job. I thank my Lord Jesus and Pastor Saroja for her prayers.

There was a man who had a dream. He heard God speaking to him… “Press hard against the large rock.” He did not understand this until the morning.
He looked out from his hut and saw a huge rock that had rolled down the hillside. He began to push and push, but he could not move the rock. Throughout the day he had a several attempts, but he could not move it. Convinced that God had spoken to him, he made a mission of this task and for weeks he spent some hours every day, but he could not budge the rock. “God told me to move this rock” he replied. The traveller laughed and said, “You must be mistaken. You will never move a rock that large.” Still the man continued his attempts to move the rock without success. Another traveller came by some weeks later and asked what he was doing. “God told me to move this rock” he replied. The traveller scorned him and said, “your God is asking such a difficult thing. It is impossible. Give up.”
That night the man turned to God in his prayer “Lord, I have done what you asked, but the task is impossible and it seems you have made fun of me. The travelers have mocked me for believing that I could move the rock as you asked me to do.” Then God spoke gently to him, “My son. Look at your strong arms and legs; look at the rippling muscles in your back; look at the tanned hardness of your skin. Look at your increased strength. Look what has happened to you. You are a different man! I asked you to press against the rock and this you have done. I never told you to move!”
Everything God asks us to do is for our own good. Even if at the time we do not see it.
Exodus 15:22 “So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.” The Israelites had just crossed the Red Sea and reached the other side. It was a wilderness, a very sunny place with no trees or shade for the people to rest under. One day passed by and the Israelites were sweating under the heat and they became tired. By the end of the second day they were thirsty and very weary. On the third day they were very tired and now all children, women and adults started complaining. They couldn’t walk further any more as they were very weary and exhausted. They began to grumble and murmur against God. It is very common for us human beings to murmur and grumble before God when we are very tired and weary in life. Especially when we are away from home, we miss our home as well as our family and our familiar environment. The Israelites had also left their homes just a few days ago and they started remembering it, hence they began to grumble against God. The Israelites went to Moses taking their plight. It is not that God was not aware of their problems or needs, He had seen them suffering on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd day. But Our Lord God was silent, because He was testing their hearts. This is the same God who parted the Red Sea and brought them safely to the other side. In the same Red Sea, God had drowned the Egyptian army. Yes, the Lord God was only testing their hearts and the Israelites grumbled at Moses. Now after three days, they came to a place where they found wells with water. As they began to drink from it, they found it to be bitter. God now showed Moses a tree, where He told him to put a branch of this tree into the well wherewith the bitter water was transformed into sweet water. God also tests our faith many a times, even as He tested the faith of the Israelites. Today, if we are weary or weak, do we have bitterness in our lives due to our weakness? Behold, there is a tree for us too that can change our lives – namely, Jesus Christ. Isaiah 11:1 “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:” Yes, a branch shall grow out of Jesse’s root and it shall be Jesus Christ. It is only through Christ that our every weakness can be put to an end. Jesus Christ is that tender shoot that has come from within, to save us from the sufferings of this world. God had shown a branch to Moses to be put into the waters of the well to sweeten it.
Likewise today, we have Jesus Christ who through His sacrifice on the Cross, has become that tree for us which sweetens our lives… He takes away every bitterness from our lives and adds sweetness to our life.
Jesus said in John 4:14 “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” The Israelites, even after Moses sweetened the water and gave them to drink, yet a little later they were thirsty. But the tree given for our sakes i.e. Jesus Christ, once He enters our life, He will be the source and fountain of living waters within us and in in our lives. Once Jesus comes within us, He will stay within us and will take away all our nakedness, our hunger, our thirst. Hence the Word says that we will have springs of living waters within us. When we believe in our Lord God and when He is within us, He will keep us away from being thirsty, tired or unrighteous, or in darkness, lonely or weary. Hence the Word says “whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” Our God will be a spring within us and the waters will not dry up year after year, but will be an everlasting spring within us. Hence when we become weary and we feel sorrow and pain, we must remember that God is preparing something great for us. Just as He provided a tree to remove the bitterness from the waters of Marah, likewise in our lives too when all the world has forsaken us, remember that God is planning something great for us. Hence we must stay focused on our Lord God alone.
Psalm 121:1-2 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Only through Him may we obtain the living waters. This world can offer us only a temporary solution for our pain and sorrow, but our Lord God Himself is our permanent solution. Psalm 34:10 says “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.” Even the lions have to hunt for their food, but when God is within us, we will never go hungry. We can live without food for days on end, but we cannot live without water. In this world, when we admit someone to the hospital, the doctors first start with saline and only then all the other treatment begins. Similarly our Lord God is the living water, for when He is within us we will never have lack of anything. Psalm 37:4-5 “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” In our life, when we are entwined with the Lord God, He will bless us for He watches over us day and night and He will never fail us. He will fulfill our every heart’s desire. In the Holy Scriptures we know that when Abraham sent away Hagar, he gave her a pitcher of water. But this water got over soon, and the child started crying in the wilderness for water and Hagar needed water. Finally, she cried out to the Lord God and He provided her with water. Our trust and hope must be on our Lord God alone, for we must remember He is the source of living water.
Daniel was a righteous person, He was prayerful and a prayer warrior too. Even in his life came weariness. Daniel 8:27 “And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.” At his weakest and weariest time, Daniel was focused on the creator of heaven and earth and he derived his strength from the Lord God. We are neither righteous like Daniel, nor prayerful nor are prayer warriors and we always tired and weary in our lives. Daniel’s faith, trust and hope was on the Lord God alone. Daniel 10:11-19 “And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.” As we have read, Daniel was very tired but God gave him strength to continue his fight. God watched over Daniel and prepared an Angel and sent help for Him. Yes, God is watching over all of us and He knows our weariness too. Just as God gave Daniel the strength to fight his enemies, He will give us the strength too, but we must wait upon Him and have faith and trust in Him.
David also once upon a time wearied in the same manner. 2 Samuel 24:10 “And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.” Because of this sin, David was physically and mentally wearied. He cried out to the Lord God. Psalm 40:12 “For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.” David was completely drained off and he was wearied because of his sin. David cried to the Lord and said ‘My sins and iniquities are more than the hairs on my head.’ Once we confess our sins and shortcomings to God, He will wash and cleanse us thoroughly. 2 Samuel 24:14,16 “And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man. And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.” When David confessed his sins, the Lord God stopped the Angel of destruction from bringing disaster upon him. Proverbs 28:13 “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” We should never hide our sins, rather we must openly confess it to God. Our God knows everything about us and we are naked before Him. We must confess our sins before Him and once we accept this truth, we will be blessed with life everlasting. As the bible says ‘be sure your sin will find you out.’ Only when we confess our sins to our Lord God, He will wash and cleanse us and then do mighty and wonderful things in our lives.
1 Samuel 12:23 “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way.” When we confess our sins to the Lord God, we become a channel of blessings for others. Small sins or big sins, every sin must be confessed before God – Then we will be able to pray for others. Moses was chosen to be a redeemer for the Israelites. God chose him to bring out the Israelites from Egypt and He was a chosen leader by God. Once Moses was also faced with a challenge. Numbers 11:15 “And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.” The Israelites had stood before Moses and murmured and grumbled about the Lord God. Moses was completely broken at this point and he said to the Lord, ‘If your grace is upon me, let me die right now.’ Numbers 11:4-8 “And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes. And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium. And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.” The Israelites were not happy with the manna (the food that the angels ate) provided by the Lord God from heaven; they remembered what they left back in Egypt viz. the fish, the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the garlic. Moses was very sad when they grumbled against God. Numbers 11:11-14 “And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me? Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers? Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat. I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.” Moses was very tired and weary, hearing what the Israelites had to say. They had no gratefulness or thankfulness in their hearts.
Even our children grumble in a similar manner, and we too get very disturbed about it. Our children hold us ransom for worldly things. We know that the Lord provided meat to the Israelites which they ate and immediately started vomiting thereafter. Jesus Christ says in Mathew 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” To those who are weary and sorrowful today, the Lord is once again calling them ‘Come to me you burdened and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’ Jesus has come to give us peace and take away our burdens. Our focus must be on the Cross of Calvary, where Jesus Christ died for you and me.

Praise the Lord. Greetings to all our dear readers in the most wonderful and Holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In this month’s edition we would like to introduce our new Aunty Severina D’souza. She is 78 years old and is partially paralysed on her left side (hand and leg). Aunty Severina can walk, albeit very slowly and is undergoing physiotherapy for this. She likes the food served in the Home and is also fond of talking to people and sharing stories from her past life.
May our good Lord heal her and keep her in good health.
Do continue to pray for all the residents of our Rose of Sharon Old Aged home.
Praise the Lord. My grandfather used to complain of an evil spirit that was troubling him in the night and whenever he slept, he felt like someone was pulling his leg and toe. Eventually, he got sick and passed away. My mother did all the cremation rituals for him. After that she started to sleep on his bed and from then onwards the evil spirit started troubling her the same way and me too. My mother fell sick and within a few months in sickness she passed away too. I did all the rituals for her. But after that I could not sleep. Neither in the night or day. Fear had gripped me. Whenever I would fall asleep, some evil spirit would pinch me, pull my leg or toe. I would be very afraid to sleep. I was in good health before with no symptoms of any sickness, then I started getting sick. I got hernia. The Doctor advised me to have an operation for the same, but my blood pressure was continuously high because of which I could not be operated. I got further scared when the doctor told me that I can have heart problems also.
All this made me very afraid and I was worrying, who will take care of my family and business. At that time my cousin sister told me about the Rose of Sharon Church prayer tower. I immediately called and requested for prayers. After prayers offered by the prayer warrior, that night I could sleep well. No evil spirit troubled me. For three days, I kept on asking for prayer in the evenings so that evil spirit doesn’t trouble me and I could sleep properly. Later the prayer warrior advised me to pray to Lord Jesus to cover me with his blood from crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I started following this every night. From then onwards the evil spirit never troubled me. All my fear is gone now. I also tested my blood pressure and it was normal and continues to be so.
I give all glory to Lord Jesus for giving me relief from the evil spirit, fear and keeping me in good health and peace.
