I greet you all in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. October is the month of the earthly harvest. I pray that you may receive a plenteous harvest this year.
Remember, to sow and to reap you need to be bound with the Lord to be blessed.Without the Lord’s help we will receive no benefit if we sow, for we will never have a blessed harvest.
When man and God are in unity we will receive a plenteous harvest of souls, so that these souls may be saved.Man’s work is to plough the land and make it ready to sow the seed.
Hosea 10:12 – Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till He come and rain righteousness upon you.The Lord will send the rain and give growth to the seed. The next work of man is to remove the wild weeds and take care of the crop. When the harvest is ready our Lord will send the latter rains. The land will produce a thirty fold, a sixty fold or a hundred fold of fruit.
When the Lord is with you while sowing and harvesting, He sends the former rain for sowing and the latter rain for harvesting. Joel 2:23 – Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
In the Apostles time, they sowed the seed (Word). They went out and preached, and everywhere, the Lord sent the latter rain (Holy Spirit). The Lord’s Spirit was working with them and confirming the Word through the accompanying signs.
They made every knee bow to the Lord and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.
In the beginning, the Apostles sowed the Word of God in tears, by prayers and in their strength and spirit. They sowed everything for the Lord and finally became martyrs for Him.
The result of their harvest of plenty was that the whole of Asia came to know the Lord. Wherever they went the gentiles came to know that the Lord is with them and doing wonderful works. Thus they said that those who have turned the world upside down have come here too. When Peter was preaching the Word of God, the Holy Spirit came on the listeners.
Acts 10:44-46 – While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.
When Paul laid hands and prayed for the people they received the Holy Spirit and they spoke in tongues; for the Lord had poured the latter rain on them.
Today we are coming to the end of history. The Lord’s coming is near. There is a great harvest before us. The fields are golden with grain. Yes, the days of the latter rain are near. Revelation 22:11-12 – He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. To pray is our work; while to send the latter rain is the Lord’s work.
Prophet Zechariah says in Zechariah 10:1 – Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
My beloved in Christ, trust in the Lord and pray, do not depend on your strength and wisdom.
Be one in the Lord’s strength. Zechariah 4:6 – Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 – I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
It is not of man who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. For with God, nothing is impossible. My beloved ones: Rely on the Lord.
The end of this world will be a great harvest. Those who are going to reap the harvest are the angels of God. Matthew 3:12 – Whose fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.Rejoice in the Lord and pray to God to send people for the harvest. The Lord opens the heavenly doors, to shower His grace, mercy, Holy Spirit and power.
So be ready to meet our Lord when He comes with the multitude of His saints.
May the good Lord bless you and make you to be ready for the great harvest.
Pastor Saroja M.
I thank you Jesus for giving me this wonderful opportunity to testify of your Holy name.
My daughter Grace had a stomach upset due to heat; she was also having high fever and little bleeding in her stools. I gave her the prayer oil and also informed Pastor Saroja about this problem. Pastor Saroja assured me of her prayers. The very same day the fever left her and she had normal motions thereafter.
I thank my Jesus for healing Grace and also thank Pastor Saroja for her fervent prayers.
Praise the Lord!

My son Irwin was continuously vomiting all that he ate for more than three days at a stretch. Following Sunday service, I informed about this to Pastor Saroja. Pastor advised me to warm little water and add prayer oil and give Irwin to drink. We adhered to Pastor’s advice. By the grace of our good Lord alone, Irwin stopped vomiting and he was healed completely.
I give all glory to our Lord God and thanks to Pastor Saroja for praying for the prayer oil and also for her fervent prayers for Irwin.
Praise the Lord!

When I woke up one morning, I had terrible headache and neck pain. I applied balm over my neck and tried to get ready for office. But the pain persisted and worsened as well, and I thought I would not be able to go to office that day. Later, I massaged prayer oil on my head and neck and slept for some time. When I woke up I was surprised that there was no neck pain or headache. I went to office feeling fit and fine.
All glory to Lord Jesus Christ for healing me and I also thank Pastor Saroja for praying for the prayer oil and also for always praying for me and my family.
Praise the Lord!

I give millions of thanks to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for fulfilling my heart’s desire. For a long time now we wanted to build our own house. Two months ago, Pastor Saroja prayed for a good site for the house and then we commenced construction of the same. The work was completed and once again Pastor Saroja prayed in the new house before we started staying here. Thank You Jesus and I also thank Pastor Saroja for her fervent prayers.
Second testimony: My son Aarpan had fallen into the water and his ears got blocked. After putting prayer oil in his ears, he was perfectly well and fine.We thank Jesus Christ for both the blessings, new house as well as for healing my son. Also, thank you Pastor Saroja for praying for our family always.

I thank Lord Jesus for giving me another opportunity to praise His Holy name.
My son Kenaz is studying in the Std. 10th. Since two months I was looking for good classes to enroll him. But no luck, the classes were too expensive. One day Pastor Saroja enquired about Kenaz and I informed her that classes were very costly. She advised me to find a good class for him and enroll him. I found a good class very close to our home and Pastor also helped me financially and paid the tuition fees.I thank my dear God for providing good tuition classes for my son at the right time. Also, my sincere thanks to Pastor Saroja for her advice and support always.
Praise the Lord!

After a few of the usual Sunday evening hymns, the church’s pastor slowly stood up, walked over to the pulpit and, before he gave his sermon for the evening, briefly introduced a guest minister who was in the service that evening. In the introduction, the pastor told the congregation that the guest minister was one of his dearest childhood friends and that he wanted him to have a few moments to greet the church and share whatever he felt would be appropriate for the service.
With that, an elderly man stepped up to the pulpit and began to speak. “A father, his son, and a friend of his son were sailing off the Pacific Coast,” he began, “when a fast approaching storm blocked any attempt to get back to shore. The waves were so high that, even though the father was an experienced sailor, he could not keep the boat upright, and the three were swept into the ocean as the boat capsized.”
The old man hesitated for a moment, making eye contact with two teenagers who were, for the first time since the service began, looking somewhat interested in the story. The aged minister continued with his story. “Grabbing a rescue line, the father had to make the most excruciating decision of his life: to which boy he would throw the other end of the life line. He only had seconds to make the decision. The father knew that his son was a Christian, and he also knew that his son’s friend was not. The agony of his decision could not be matched by the torrent of the waves. As the father yelled out, ‘I love you, son!’, he threw out the life line to the son’s friend. By the time the father had pulled the friend back to the capsized boat, his son had disappeared beneath the raging swells into the black of night. His body was never recovered.”
By this time, the two teenagers were sitting up straight in the pew, anxiously waiting for the next words to come out of the old minister’s mouth. “The father,” he continued, “knew his son would step into eternity with Jesus, and he could not bear the thought of his son’s friend stepping into an eternity without Jesus. Therefore, he sacrificed his son to save the son’s friend. How great is the love of God that He could do the same for us. Our heavenly Father sacrificed His only begotten Son that we could be saved. I urge you to accept His offer to rescue you and take hold of the life line.”
With that, the old man turned and sat back down in his chair as silence filled the room. The pastor again walked slowly to the pulpit and delivered a brief sermon with an invitation at the end. However, no one responded to the appeal. Within minutes after the service, the two teenagers were at the old man’s side. “That was a nice story,” politely said one of the boys, “but I don’t think it was very realistic for a father to give up his only son’s life in hopes that the other boy would become a Christian.”
“Well, you’ve got a point there,” the old man replied, glancing down at his worn Bible. Sorrow began to overtake the old man’s smiling face as he once again looked up at the boys and said, “It sure isn’t very realistic, is it? But I’m here today to tell you that I understand more than most the pain God must have felt to give up His only Son. For you see, I’m the man who lost his son to the ocean that day, and my son’s friend that I chose to save is your pastor.”
God Bless!
Isaiah 51:3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he w i l l m a k e h e rwilderness like Eden, and her desert likethe garden of theL O R D ; j o y a n dgladness shall bef o u n d t h e r e i n ,hanksgiving, andthe voice of melody.God has given us HisWord of promise to comfort us. This Word shows us how God can work amongst His people. Whatever the wilderness in our lives, God can make it a Garden of Eden. Gardens signify’beauty’.We know how people love to visitbeautiful gardens. Imagine when Godmakes a garden with His own hands, similar to the Garden of Eden; imaginehow beautiful it will be. Because it ismade with His own planning and
thought process and by His will. Thus, when God plans our life with Hisplanning and will, itw i l l b e c o m e a sbeautiful as the’Garden of Eden’. Wemust be focused onGod alone; howeverdry and withered beour land, God canconvert it int0Garden of Eden.Isaiah 35:1-2 Thewilderness and the solitary place shallbe glad forthem; and the desert shallrejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shallblossom abundantly, and rejoice evenwith joy and singing: the glory ofLebanon shall be given unto it, theexcellency of Carmel and Sharon, theyshall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
We can see the life of a wilderness in three forms:
When the Israelites were brought out of Egypt into Israel they had topass a wilderness, they r o a m e d i n t h ewilderness for 40 yearsGod fed them heavenly
m a n n a i n t h e wilderness. Since God was with them, they lacked nothing in the wilderness. Though the place was a wilderness, yet God fed them with
angel’s food. · Another form ofwilderness was when
Jesus Christ was taken into the wilderness by
the Spirit to be tested by SatanMatthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.Every human being has to pass through the wilderness at some point in time of their life, but when we remain inGod’s hand, we will get victory even
in the wilderness. God was a ‘pillar of cloud’ by day and a ‘pillar of fire’ by night, for the Israelites in the w i l d e r n e s s . Next, we see that b e f o r e J e s u s s t a r t e d H i s ministry in thisworld, He was t a k e n t o t h ewilderness by the S p i r i t . T h e r e.J e s u s C h r i s t g e t s strengthened by the Spirit and defeats Satan his enemy.* The third form of wilderness is the one in which we see that man g o e s t h r o u g h awilderness because of his own sins. In the Garden of Eden, God created man & woman and gave theallinstructions as to what they should do and what they should not do. But it was their disobedience that put them out of the Garden of Eden. Though they were gifted a life in the Garden of Eden, they did not use it fruitfully. Thus, we must always be focused on God even when we pass through a wilderness in our lives. Only then can God convert this wilderness into a Garden of Eden for us. Genesis 3:18 “Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.” Here we see that when Adam and Eve were thrown out of the garden, the place that was God’s gift to them was not fruitful and blessed. It is important for us to know that when our faith is on God; even though our life may be painful today, God can convert it into a happy life for us. Nothing is impossible for God, but the only thing is that we must remain focused in Him.
they did not use it fruitfully.
We know that King Nebuchadnezzar was a rich man and till his sight was focused on God, he prospered in life; but the moment his focus shifted and pride came into him, he became as an animal. His life became a life of wilderness and it was an unhappy life. Daniel 4:33 “The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws”. Imagine how from a prosperous and rich life, King Nebuchadnezzar’s life became a life of wilderness.
Thus above, we have seen 3 forms of wilderness in our life. Now we will see that when God chooses people to serve Him, they have to go through a wilderness in their lives. Apostle John had to go through the wilderness in his life when God chose him to serve Him. God kept him away from his family life so that he could serve Him. Here we see that God blessed this wilderness in Apostle John’s life and made it a life of blessings and glory. When Apostle John was captured and put in prison on an island in Patmos, he wrote the entire ‘Book of Revelation’ and thus God was glorified in this wilderness of Apostle John’s life. When we are with God, our wilderness will bring blessings in our life. Today, many of us here may be going through a wilderness in our life today, but if we give ourselves into God’s hands, He will take us through our wilderness and make it a blessing for us. God says “I can do all things for you; there is nothing that I cannot do for you” – This our God says with great zeal for His children. In the bible, we see that God has converted every life of wilderness into blessings e.g. In the life of Ruth, it was a life of great pain and sorrow; she was going through a wilderness in her life, but when she accepted Lord God as her Saviour, He converted her life from wilderness to a blessing. In the life of Job, Satan had made it a life of wilderness but since Job remained stayed and focused on God, in the end his life of wilderness was converted into a Garden of Eden, and God blessed him double-fold. We can see many more examples in the bible about how God converted life of wilderness into blessings when the people remained focused on God. Even we have a hope in God, if we call out to Him. He is not far from us, He will hear and answer our prayers and convert every wilderness into a Garden of Eden for us! What is the meaning of Eden? It means God’s presence in our life. God never leaves us alone. From the beginning of creation, God made man and woman. Even as life progressed and we sinned and entered into various wildernesses in our lives, once again God sent His only son Jesus Christ to save us. Today God says “More than your earthly Father and Mother, I will love you. I will not leave you or forsake you; I will send my Spirit to comfort you”. Thus because of His Spirit, His presence is with us always. God created this world and all things therein, but it is man that He made in His own image and to whom He gave His own breath. God loved us humans and finally There is no other love more than the love of God in our life.Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”. Thus we can trust our God completely. From the beginning we have seen in the bible that for those who put their trust in God, God converted every life of wilderness into a Garden of Eden. It is important for us to remember this and we should also remember His love for us. Yes, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Thus whatever may be our wilderness today, God will hear our cry when we put our faith and trust in Him and our lives will be converted today. When we do not love God, we cannot put our faith and trust in Him hence we can never prosper or be blessed in our lives.Psalm 40:17 “But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God”. Our God is our help and deliverer. He will never forsake us and especially during trials and tribulations in our life, God is closest to us, to help us through our wilderness. We must only call out to God with our heartfelt voice saying “I am poor, needy and helpless; I can do nothing without You, Lord”. God will hear us and rescue us immediately. It is our faith and trust in God which is weak, our cry to Him is weak – this is our lack. Every day His grace and mercy is new upon us, we must believe it!Isaiah 51:3 “For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody”. When God is with us, we have His joy and happiness within us. Psalm 55:22 “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Those who put their faith and trust in God will never be ashamed. When we put our burden on God, He will sustain us. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Those who put their faith and trust in God will never be ashamed. When we put our burden on God, He will sustain us. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. We may have wronged God, but the moment we have asked for His forgiveness, He will once again have mercy upon us and rescue us. We must always walk in the path of righteousness that God has paved for us.
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.” David was always pressed from all sides, in his life, but his faith and trust was only in God. Even during war when he was being surrounded by enemies, David put his trust only in God. David thus thought “Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul would be settled in silence.David knew that in all his victories, his help came from Lord God alone. He could not have defeated his enemies, he could not have defeated Goliath, and he could not have delivered his families from the Amalekites. His life would be a thorough wilderness, but because of God’s presence in his life, He realized that he was alive even today, with victory and glory only to God. Prophet Jeremiah says in Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”. Eden means God with us. God was with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden; God met them in the morning, noon and evening. This was the Garden of Eden. Likewise God was with Abraham and Prophet Elijah whenever they called upon Him, and He appeared unto them. Thus Jeremiah says “Call out to God in trouble; He will be there for you and me. He will do great and mighty things in our life”. Yes, God will do great and mighty things when we call out to Him in truth and righteousness. It’s really very simple to follow God. But we must be humble and sinless before God. It is our sins that become a veil between God and us. Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”. Yes, we do not know God’s secrets, it is His hidden treasure. We know that when Jesus Christ was baptized and came out of the waters, God blessed Him from the Heavens with His Spirit in the form of a dove. Our wisdom and knowledge comes from God alone, it is His hidden treasure showered from heavens alone. Eden means a life full of blessings and righteousness. It is only through God that we can get this life of Eden. John the Baptist says to the people who came to be baptized through him, in Mathew 3:8-10 “Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire”. For our life to be a blessing, we must be righteous and lead a life of repentance.
Let us read John 15:2-5 “Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing”. We can do nothing without God and without Him we are worthy for nothing. God is the one who blesses our life
and makes it fruitful. Without God our life is cursed and a wilderness. God wants us to be fruitful in life; He is preparing us for that alone. John 15:8 “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples”. If we remain a disciple of Jesus, then whatever we ask in His name, God the Father will bless us with it. John 15:14 “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you”. From a disciple, we will be upgraded to being a friend of God. Being a friend of God, we will definitely be closer with Him in relationship. We must always be humble before God. Our blessings can never be brought by our family, wisdom, knowledge or wealth; but only by God’s grace can He do mighty things in our lives. Meaning of Eden also means ‘Holy Spirit in the form of a river’. Today, we have seen many meanings of the word ‘Eden’… let us read John 7:38-39 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” When the rivers flow with the Spirit of God, it is no ordinary river; the land of this world converts into ‘Gold’.
Genesis 2:11 “The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah where there is gold.” When God sends this river in our life, our life gets converted into ‘Gold’. Thus, God speaks to us again and again through His Word and encourages us with His Word. At times when we are pressed from all sides with pain and sorrow, it is then that we must call out to God in truth and faith. Remember, God’s Word says “Especially in times of trouble, I am close to you”. We must believe it and have faith in His word. If we try to come out of this with our own wisdom and knowledge, we will fail and not see success in this. Without God we can do nothing; we must not search for God’s hidden treasures in the world but only look up to God. If Jesus Christ was blessed from the Heavens with wisdom and knowledge, can we get wisdom from this world? We must also only cry out to our God in Heaven; He will give us wisdom and knowledge. So why should we waste time searching for something that we will never get on this earth? Let us raise our eyes to God and look on Him for He alone will bless us. Without Him we can do nothing in life nor gain anything in life.
Psalms 36:8-9 “They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light”. In the light of God, we can find light in this world. Our world is covered only with darkness, so to find light in this world we must have God within us. Where does the river of life originate? Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. The river of life originates from the throne of God, like the gift of wisdom and knowledge that Jesus Christ received from the Heavens. When this river flows into our life, our life of wilderness will be converted into a ‘Garden of Eden’ i.e. a ‘Garden of God’. Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert”.God will do a new thing in our life. Our God will never ask us to wait; He will bless us immediately and we will enjoy His grace immediately. He will make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. When the Israelites wanted water in the wilderness, God provided them a well, but the water in this well tasted bitter. When Moses cried out to the Lord, He showed him a tree whose branch
In
Moses dropped into the well. The bitter water now became ‘sweet’ and the people drank the water and quenched their thirst. Yes, God will do a good thing ‘NOW’ in our life and not tomorrow or the day after. His blessings are always ‘immediate’, not later. Thus when the River of God / Spirit of God flows into our life, all our drought, famine, sorrow and pain with be taken away and our life will once again be filled with blessings and become a Garden of Eden i.e. a Garden of God.
Let God bless each one of us and may this message bring blessings in our life.

It’s the month of Harvest … a time to reap what we have sown, a time to enjoy the fruit of our labour … a time to rejoice in God’s blessings and give thanks!
In Sunday School we have begun teaching the Book of Acts in full swing and vigour. We have been able to finish 10 chapters; describing the early churches, the working of the Holy Spirit, the persecution of the believers and the step by step guidance and victory through the Holy Spirit.
The children have enjoyed learning about Saul who became Paul, Peter, Simon the sorcerer, Steven, Cornelius- the centurion, Gamaliel’s advice, Philip and the eunuch who believed and got baptized, and about Ananias and Sapphira.
The children have also learnt a new Arabic Christian song and they love singing it. They are now eager to learn new songs in different languages … to glorify God. So, we’ve asked each child to do an activity; each one of them have to learn a song in a different language and teach the rest of the class while explaining the meaning of the song. They are extremely excited with this new project!
Do continue to lift our little children in your daily prayers.
And let’s all celebrate Harvest with great joy and zest … for the Lord has indeed blessed us abundantly!
Praise the Lord!
