Praise the Lord dear brothers and sisters in Christ. May the forthcoming month bring blessings in the lives of all the readers.
Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
Surrendering ourselves completely into God’s hands willingly and obediently is a very important step towards receiving an abundance of blessings from God.
Paul, before surrendering himself to God, was Saul, who persecuted God’s people and destroyed temples. One day, God said, ‘Enough! It is high time,’ and He decided to capture Saul’s heart. On the road to Damascus, God blinded him, and Saul, shocked at what happened in a minute, asked God: Acts 22:10, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ I asked. ‘Get up,’ the Lord said, ‘and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do.’ Saul’s immediate act of surrendering to God was the beginning of wisdom in his life. The rest, as they say, is history; and we all are aware that this turning point gave birth to Paul, one of the great apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!”
The simple lesson we learn from the above is, that at any given point in time, we should never let our current situation, thoughts, or desires of our heart rule over our lives, for we never know what situation God is going to use to turn us towards Him. Hence, when you hear His true voice, surrender to Him immediately, as that would be the stepping stone to success!
Job 22:21, “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.”
One day, a situation arose in the life of Job, wherein he lost everything in the span of a few hours. Satan challenged God in Job 2:4-5, “ ‘Skin for skin!’ Satan replied. ‘A man will give all he has for his own life. But now stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.‘ ”
Even Job’s wife advised him in Job 2:9 “His wife said to him, ‘Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!’ ” But Job answered her in Job 2:10 “He replied, ‘You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?’ In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.”
Job did not use his current state of mind or his situation of pain and sorrow to step away from God. Instead, he stood more firm in faith, though his wife and friends advised him otherwise. Again, the rest is history, as we read how the Lord blessed Job in return for his blind faith. Job 42:12 “The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part…”
Dear brothers and sisters, God promises to be with us, and in return, He only expects complete obedience and surrender to His will. Once you learn to do that, no one can stop the abundance of blessings in your life.
Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
Your sister in Christ,
Pastor Saroja M
Praise the Lord. A few days ago, my daughter, Sara suddenly developed a fever in the night. We gave her medicine, but again, the next day, the fever remained. I called up Pastor Saroja and told her about Sara’s fever. Pastor assured me of her prayers and advised us to do certain things, which we followed. By God’s grace, the same night the fever vanished, and Sara became perfectly alright. Normally, whenever Sara gets a fever, it carries on for at least 1-2 weeks. But this time, by God’s grace, the fever went within a day. I give all glory to my Lord Jesus for healing Sara, and I also thank Pastor Saroja for her fervent prayers and precious advice. Thank You, Lord!

Praise the Lord. This testimony is about my scheduled Hernia operation. My heart pumping rate was very low, and it was very weak (working at 15% – 20% only), so the doctors told me they couldn’t take the risk of operating on my hernia, as anything adverse could happen to me. I then requested Pastor Saroja to pray for me regarding this. Pastor assured me of her prayers. Immediately after that, I was given a date for my operation. As the date drew near for my operation, my condition further deteriorated. I told my wife to request Pastor for prayers. My wife informed Pastor about this. Pastor assured us of her prayers and told us not to worry, and that the operation would not be hindered. Accordingly, on the same scheduled date, my operation was conducted successfully. I thank my dear Lord Almighty Saviour Jesus Christ for this miracle in my life, and I give Him all the glory and honour. I also sincerely thank Pastor Saroja for her fervent prayers for me and my family always. Thank You, Jesus.

*Praise the Lord. In the past year, I experienced severe difficulties at my workplace. The Finance Head of my Company suddenly changed my reporting to a new (lady) manager. My new manager’s areas were not completely aligned with mine, due to which we would always have disagreements on the areas of work. My appraisal was not done, so I reached out to the management and my new manager about the same. She mentioned that they were planning to put me under a Performance Improvement Plan for 3 months from October 23 onwards. She then sent me a list of issues about my behaviour. It said that I could not get along with her and my teammates. This list also included a few team members’ false written complaints against me, about ill-treating them and not training them. Also, all my leaves and timings would be monitored during these 3 months, following which, the management would then decide what to do. This, my manager said, was the reason they were not appraising me in the regular cycle. I was very hurt, and told this matter to Pastor Saroja, requesting her prayers. As this was all running through my mind daily, I decided to search for another job, especially after hearing all these allegations, but Pastor lifted me in prayer and told me to trust in the Lord. She told me to wait, stay calm, not revert to the accusations, and just do my work quietly.
I followed Pastor’s advice, and within a few days, I began to see a change in my new reporting manager’s behaviour. She now began to acknowledge my work and behaviour, and requested the management to put me in a new area that is aligned to her role. She also started training me in depth on it. After 3 months, she gave me a good review, and requested the top management for my appraisal to be done, and they gave me an appraisal hike from Jan 24 onwards. Today, she has made me in charge of the new area and tells my other teammates (those who had complained about me) to quietly listen to me and complete the tasks I delegate to them. Truly, this is only the Lords doing in my life. I may have faltered time and again, but He has shown His mercy and grace, and lifted me from my problems. All glory and honour to Him alone. I also thank dear Pastor Saroja for her advice, counsel, and guidance towards me, which helped me to come out of this situation. Thank you, Pastor, for always fervently praying for me in every phase of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for Your miracle.

Lily the librarian loved books. She loved reading them; she loved organizing them, and she loved helping people find the books they were looking for. She was a control freak, and she liked to know where everything was all the time.
At one point of time, Lily noticed that some books were missing from the library. She was determined to find out who was stealing them. She started observing all the students who came into the library and what books they were reading.
One day, Lily got a call from the hospital. Her daughter Sally had been in a car accident and was in critical condition. Lily was devastated. She rushed to the hospital to see her daughter.
When Lily saw Sally in the hospital bed, she was heartbroken. She didn’t know what to do. She prayed to God, “Why have you allowed this to happen? I have no control over this. I don’t understand. I give my daughter in Your hands, and I believe only You can heal her, and not my worrying!”
Lily spent the next week by Sally’s side in the hospital, praying for her daughter’s recovery. She read to her from her favorite books, and she held her hand, telling her that she loved her.
Sally slowly started to improve. She was released from the hospital a few weeks later. Lily was so happy to have her daughter back home.
When Lily went back to work at the library, she realized that something had changed. She didn’t care about the books as much as she used to. She realized that all the books in the world couldn’t replace the love she had for her daughter.
Lily also realized that she had been too controlling. She realized that she couldn’t control everything, as everything was in God’s hands, and she had to trust Him to take care of her as well as her family.
Lily submitted to God and let Him handle her path for her. Now, she was finally at peace.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your path straight.”
In the Scriptures, Abraham gave Lot the choice to choose. Genesis 13:8-13 “And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.”
Abraham gave Lot the option to choose the land he desired. Lot made a choice that seemed green and prosperous in his eyes, and he chose Sodom and Gomorrah. Sin abounded in this land, where the inhabitants did not believe in God, and lived in sin, according to the desire of their flesh, being carnally minded. In the end, God had to send fire to destroy this land. We, as normal human beings too, make the same mistake, and often we choose whatever is desirable to our eyes. We want to live life according to our whims and fancies because we do not know how disastrous the end of our lives will be. We want to fulfill all desires in this world, and we choose the wide way, forsaking the narrow way of life. Even as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah lived in carnality, and sin abounded in their land, similarly, today the same situation exists in the world.
Abraham gave Lot the right to choose between the land of Canaan (heaven), and Sodom-Gomorrah (hell). Lot chose what seemed beautiful to his eyes, not knowing that the people of this land were wicked. Genesis 13:13 “But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.” Yes, even today, worldly people appear very good to the eyes, but their wickedness is exceedingly great. Genesis 18:20-22 “And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. And the men turned their faces from thence and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.” The wickedness of the people reached the heavens, and the Lord God came down into the world to see this and speak to Abraham, wherein Abraham, very painfully listened to the Lord. Genesis 19:1-29 “And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door. And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place: For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it. And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law. And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord: Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die: Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken. Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD: And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace. And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.”
Where was Lot sitting? He was sitting at the gate of Sodom. What is this gate known as? Psalm 1:1 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful”
This was the gate where all sinners come together and gossip about people. It is here that the two Angels met Lot, and he took them home. The sinful men of the city followed them to Lot’s house to perform wickedly with the visitors. The Angels then pulled Lot into his house, and smote the wicked people with blindness, so that they could not find the door to Lot’s house. God did this great work because of Abraham, wherein He had mercy upon Lot. Even Lot’s sons-in-law did not believe that these were Angels who had come to save them, and they scornfully laughed at them. In the morning, God instructed Lot to take his daughters and his wife and get out of this city, following which, God rained fire to destroy this land. Why did God save Lot? Because of the righteousness of Abraham. We all know what happened to Lot’s wife when she turned back to look at the burning city and was turned into a pillar of salt. Even today, we are all in a race running toward heaven, and yet, some of us turn back to see who is left behind. Remember, if we turn back, we will also turn into a pillar of salt, for God will say ‘They are not mine, they are against me and belong to this perishing world.’ Can we imagine how it will be if God will ever think of us like this?
In Abraham’s lifetime, he chose the promised land of Canaan, a land of milk and honey, a land that finally took him to heaven. What a blessed life Abraham lived! He is still known as our father because He chose life rather than death! Exodus 3:8 “And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.” Our wonderful God brought us out of Egypt, a land of bondage, and kept us in His promised land of honey and milk. Even today, God has kept two paths ahead of us 1) The Wide way and 2) The Narrow way. If we choose the Narrow way, we will choose life, where few will be found. Mathew 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Those who choose the Wide way are many, but they are all heading towards destruction. The Narrow way is difficult, and few choose this way, as there are many sacrifices that we need to make on this way, leading to heaven.
In the Holy Scriptures, Peter asked Jesus in Mathew 19:23-30 “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.”
What wealth our parents cannot give us, God gives us. Our parents are unable to withdraw and curse in our lives, but God took the curse upon himself by dying for us. He transformed our curse into blessings. If, for God’s sake, we sacrifice anything in this world, He will add it back – pressed, shaken, and overflowing. In this world, it is difficult to understand why God tells us to leave our families, saying that He will add people into our lives. Those who know only the law and commandments and not the real love of God will turn back and ask, ‘How is this possible?’ Jesus tested the rich man and told him, ‘Leave everything including your family, go and sell your property, and then come follow me.’ But as we know, the rich man was very sad, as he could not leave back his family and wealth. As a result, the rich man could not be obedient to God’s word. We must remember that God will never ask us to leave anything in this world unless He has a plan and a will for us. He will never take anything from us, rather He will always add much more than we ever had in our lives.
We know of Job’s story in the Scriptures, and how his wife told him to ‘curse God and die,’ when he was struck with sores and lost all his wealth and kindred. In the end, when God restored everything unto Job, God restored all in double measure, except for his wife. She chose curse and death, not life, hence she lost a heavenly life. Mathew 19:29 “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.”
We must have faith in God’s word, He will never take anything from us, rather He will multiply what we have. God did this in Job’s life and prospered him more than ever before. Job 42:12-17 “So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. He had also seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch. And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations. So Job died, being old and full of days.” Job’s daughters were the most beautiful in the land. He empowered his daughters to choose between right from wrong and to make their choices. As he gave his sons authority, he also gave his daughters equal opportunity to make a choice. Job’s wife’s name, however, is not mentioned at the end, when God restored him double.
It is the fruits of our tongue that reap life or death for us. Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” If we have forsaken anything in this world for God’s sake, He will add it back to us in double measure. This will happen if we do it without any selfish motive; if not, we may lose all that we have. God has kept before us today: Life, Blessings, Curse, and Death. What we choose eventually is our choice!
God advises us in Mathew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all things of this world will be added into our lives. Leave the law and commandments behind, and follow God’s righteousness alone. In today’s world, in many stores, one finds offers of ‘Buy One Get One Free.’ Similarly, God has kept His offer open to us: ‘Choose the Kingdom of God & His righteousness, and all the things of this world shall be added unto you for free.’ Jesus is the only way to heaven. If we strive to understand this truth in life, we will find Jesus, for He is the only way. John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” We need to find this way of ‘Jesus’ as it is the only way to salvation and heaven. John 10:9 “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” The Word says that Jesus is the door, and we must enter heaven through Him alone.
God always gives us a choice to choose from. Luke 10:39-42 “And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” There were two sisters: Mary and Martha. Martha was always worried about cooking and tending to all during prayer meetings. Mary helped Martha till Jesus came, but once Jesus came, she did not want to lose God’s grace that had come to her home that day, so she settled at Jesus’ feet. Martha complained to Jesus that Mary was not helping her with the household chores. But Jesus told Martha that she was troubled about many things. Luke 10:41-42 “And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Jesus supported Mary for she had chosen the right way.
Like Mary, we must also choose the right way, i.e., the good part which shall not be taken away from us. We must keep aside our worldly ways and choose the way that will be a blessing in our lives.
David says in Psalm 16:6 “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.” Because David chose the right path, He had a goodly heritage.
2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” We should have faith in unseen things, for they are eternal. In Noah’s time, people did not know what ‘Rain’ was, as it had never rained before. God told Noah to build an Ark, for He planned to send rain to destroy this earth. Noah believed God and started building an Ark. No one came forward to help him, and Noah had to sell most of his property and belongings to make this boat. People laughed and scorned Noah, but he continued constructing the Ark. Finally, God sent the rain and people experienced it, but it was too late to get into Noah’s Ark as God had shut its door, and no one could open it. Thus, God saved Noah and his family, and they inherited a goodly heritage, even as we have read earlier in Psalm 16:6, “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.” God destroyed the inhabitants of the earth, but He gave Noah and his family a new land to live in, with a new heritage. Know that we will never lose anything when we are obedient to God, instead He will add much more to our heritage.
God has clearly kept two ways before us, even as we have read in Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
God asks us to choose ‘Life’ according to His divine wisdom. When we choose ‘Life,’ we will reach our ‘Heavenly’ home. No doubt, the way is narrow, stringent, and very difficult; but God will give His grace and help us to walk this narrow path. He will bless us and our endeavours for Him.
May this message be a blessing to all. Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord, dear readers! Hope you and your family members are doing fine by God’s grace.
A heat wave has spread all around Mumbai, as temperatures have soared to a decade-high of 40 degrees centigrade in April 2024. It is so very difficult to step out with the sun striking you directly!
Our residents, though, by God’s grace, do not have to face this extreme weather, as our Lord is like a ‘cloud’ over our Old Age Home, and all the residents are under His shadow. All praise and honour to our Living Lord JESUS, for taking care of our residents in all sorts of weather.
Do take care of all the elders in your respective homes. We continue to pray for their well-being and hope you all are also praying for the residents of the Rose of Sharon Old Age Home.
Your sister in Christ,
Pastor Saroja M
Praise the Lord. Vacations are here – a favorite time for all children because they can just relax and not have to worry about homework or going to school!
Junior children were taught Psalm 91:1, which says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” They were made to understand that we must take refuge in the Lord where we are always safe, and they were given worksheets to colour and to help them understand better and remember it as a memory verse.
Intermediate children were taught Matthew 6.
1) The Lamp (light) of the Body is the eyes, and we must be very careful not to sin with our eyes, as sin committed by the eyes brings the whole body to darkness.
2) Similarly, you cannot serve God and riches (money) together. We always have to give first place to God.
3) We should not worry about anything as the Lord says in Matthew 6:30 “Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” So, what should we worry about? When God is with us, we do not need to worry about what we eat or drink, for God knows what we need for the day.
The Senior children were taught about Ziba, the servant of Mephibosheth, who carried food and drinks for David and his men who were hungry and fainting in the wilderness. Thereafter, David came to a place where Shimei (from the house of Saul) cursed and spoke ill to King David, throwing stones and casting dust at David and his servants. Yet, in response, David said in 2 Sam 16:11-12 “And David said to Abishai and all his servants, “See how my son who came from my own body seeks my life. How much more now may this Benjamite? Let him alone, and let him curse; for so the Lord has ordered him. It may be that the Lord will look on my affliction, and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing this day.” In the meantime, Absalom was on the other side listening to the advice of Ahithophel who used to be King David’s counsellor (but now, had betrayed David, and turned sides).
Do continue to uphold our little ones in your prayers that our Lord Jesus may keep all of them safe and sound during their vacations!
