Dear Readers,

Greetings to you in Jesus’ wonderful name. The Bible says in John 8:32,

“You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”

It gives me great pleasure to present you this wonderful little book. This book is written by Sis Saroja who has been established by the Lord Jesus as His prophetess in Star of Bethlehem Church.As we see the lives of the older prophets, they spoke what the Lord showed them. They lived to please God, not men. As the Bible shows us whoever heard the prophets and obeyed were saved, but those who ridiculed them lost everything. This book is an eye opener for many who do not know the way of the Lord. You cannot cheat God knowingly and He will not spare but He is a just and merciful Lord.Personally, Sis Saroja has been the greatest turning point in my life and Ministry. The Lord has corrected me, my family and congregation through His daughter Saroja many a times. That is why the fear of the Lord is there in our Ministry today. He has used her mightily to rebuild this Ministry.This book only speaks of a few things the Lord has revealed or done through her. It is for us to believe and be corrected. Whom the Lord loves he corrects.I hope, dear readers that this first book of hers shall be a blessing to you. And I pray she may be led by the Spirit to write
many more books.She has been a pillar of strength to me and I believe she will continue to support me in doing the Lord’s work truthfully.I pray that the Lord may continue to use her in His own wonderful way.If you have been blessed by this book, please write to me or the authoress at our church address given below.

INTRODUCTION

“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”Isa 60:2Our God made the light to shine out of the darkness. Our Lord is the one who created the sun, moon and stars in the universe. He is the maker of light. He is the King of Glory.The bible says in Gen 1:3,4, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” Today, we see the people of this world groping in darkness. Sin brings darkness in the lives of people. The people are bound by this darkness and their suffering increases.Sickness is a kind of darkness in man’s life, which ultimately leads to death. Problems, division in families and various other things are a kind of darkness in men’s lives today. People are struggling like worms today in sin.Look at Jesus Christ, who brings light in our dark life. The bible says about Him in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Children of God is the light of God in you today ? He brought us out of darkness to preach the gospel without fear.Apostle Peter writes in 1 Pet. 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”My beloved brothers and Sisters, no man can give the true light in your life except the Lord Jesus Christ. Look at David who asks the Lord to lighten up His life. Ps 18:28, “For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.”Yes, Beloved brothers and sisters I would like to share the miracles, experiences and happiness in my life through Jesus Christ, who brought me from darkness to light. With the help and encouragement of my good God I am writing this book. All experiences shared in this book are true.

Sis. Saroja

Early Years

I was born on 2nd June, 1954 in Kaval Kinaru village, in the state of Tamil Nadu, to a Catholic mother and Hindu father in a family of 5 children, i.e 2 brothers and 2 sisters and me. I was the third and was named as Saroja. I completed my schooling in my village through a Protestant school. At the age of 19 in 1973 I was married into a Hindu family and came and settled in Mumbai till date.

Until the year 1993, I lived a life of a sinner and according to the worldly ways. Towards the end of 1993, I was not aware that there is going to be a drastic change from darkness to light in my life.Earlier in the year 1990, some missionary Sisters had visited my house and spoke to me about the Lord Jesus, about His life and the miracles He had done. They also gifted me a Holy Bible which I kept in my cupboard without even opening it and not realising that this book would become the most important possession of my life in future.Then in the year 1993 my husband, son, daughter and myself went to our native place to spend our vacation. There as usual we went to visit the Tiruchendur temple in Tirunelvelli district. According to the temple’s tradition, we have to break a coconut at the entrance first and then enter the temple. When my husband broke the coconut, an exact half of the coconut just flew away crossing the high compound wall. We tried searching the half coconut which was flung outside but could not find it. Since this was the first time this had happened, we asked the pujaris who were present the reason for it. The pujaris were surprised because such a thing had never happened before and said that it could be a bad sign.

But dear brothers and sisters little did I know that from that day onwards I was beginning to enter a new life with Jesus Christ and He had already chosen me and there was nothing which could stop me from following Him.

The change came

On my return to Mumbai, I suffered from a massive attack of allergy. During that time my neighbours, Sis. Ann and Sis. Eva asked me to attend the healing services in Star of Bethlehem Ministry, which I had heard about some time ago. I was hesitant to attend the same, but on regular persistence I decided to give it a try. Then I came to attend the Saturday healing service. When the songs were going on, a particular song caught my attention that changed my life. I would like to share the same with you dear Brothers and Sisters. It goes as follows in Hindi language:

After that heart-touching song, I felt a great burden in my heart. I could not understand or express what kind of burden this was. I then heard the Word of God through Bro. Godwin Salins. But the burden in my heart did not lighten, but increased all the more. Then Sis.Eva introduced me to Bro.Godwin and he prayed over me. Yet the restlessness in my heart kept increasing. I had not carried my Bible to the prayer meeting, being my first day.After the close of the meeting, that night as I reached home, I felt the burden still within me. I was then led to read the bible, which the missionary Sisters had gifted me three years back. As I opened the bible for the first time, I read the verse, Mark 15:30, “Save thyself, and come down from the cross.”

As I read this verse, a strong urge rose within me to read the whole chapter. And I read verses 1 through 35, after which I was not able to read any further. I began to weep with tears in my eyes. I wondered why I was weeping. I continued to weep for about 20 minutes. But after this I felt all my burden disappear and I felt light in my heart. Then I began to read the bible from the beginning chapters. After this I started attending the healing service every Saturday. My dear brothers and sisters, all the allergy that I had on my body slowly started disappearing. I was very happy and rejoicing in my heart praising my Lord with all my being. I started to read the bible where I learnt about the commandments of the Lord. I began to try to keep and obey the commandments of the Lord.

The storms were calmed

But my dear brothers and Sisters, the evil one was not happy with me. At my home, my husband started arguing with me saying, “You have become alright now, forget about that place.” But only I myself could understand the gladness that had entered my heart. Not wanting to loose this joy, I tried to explain to him, because I did not want to return to the sinful life. He did not agree.Gradually, after my husband would go for shift duties, I would come to the prayer meeting without his knowledge. Finally he came to know that I was continuing to attend the prayer meeting. And one day he raised his voice and started quarrelling with me. Then I withdrew alone by myself and cried out to the Lord with a loud voice and prayed to the Lord saying, “What should I do O Lord?” And I opened the bible and I read this verse, Ps. 30:11 “Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.” After reading this verse, I decided in my heart that whatever problems may arise, I will not forget this good Lord who healed me and changed my heart. I immediately forgot all the problems that occurred at my house that night and slept peacefully.

My dear brothers and Sisters, the very next morning my Lord did a marvellous thing in my life. My daughter Padma suddenly said to me, “Mummy you are not alone, I also will join you in attending this prayer meeting.” When I heard this I could not express the joy that filled my heart. Because of this I was more strengthened in faith. At that very moment I remembered about the incident that took place at the temple in my native place. I remembered the coconut that broke into half and that half was not to be found. My daughter and I talked about this and discussed that the evil one already knew that half of our family would be out of his hands. Both of us together started attending the prayer meetings regularly. Padma passed with a good percentage in her final year and even before her results were out, the Lord blessed her with a good job.

Empowered with the Holy Spirit

In the meetings in which Bro.Godwin prayed many were filled with the Holy Spirit. The evil spirits were also getting restless in this place. Many people received their healings. Witnessing all these things a thirst to be filled by the Holy Spirit also grew in my heart. Every prayer meeting day I will pray intensely for the anointing. Many times I felt in my heart that today I would receive the Holy Spirit, but nothing happened. Then I became very sorrowful because even after praying for many days I was not empowered by the Holy Spirit.After some days during the close of the meeting when all the people stood up for prayers, Bro.Godwin would call out saying that whoever wants to receive the Holy Spirit cry out and ask the Lord Jesus Christ. As already I had kept this request in my heart before the Lord, that day I was determined to receive the anointing. I began to pray all the more intensely. At that moment I felt a strong vibration coming over my body. And I began shaking from head to toe. I could not stand and I slumped to the floor. When I would get up to my feet I would not know anything. Many weeks this same incident continued. But I would be filled with overflowing bliss and joy in my heart.Gradually during the prayers, my lips also would start murmuring some words. Many times I would try to control my self. During these times I would be right at the back of the crowd, of the many people who would attend the meetings. Seeing me struggle like this always, the people who stood at the back row asked me to go forward and stand ahead near the front row. Many people persisted that I go forward and stand. According to their advise, the next time I took my seat in the front row.During that time, Sis.Ida would speak out loud as the Lord was speaking. And I would hear people say, “Yes Lord, Yes Lord !” Many times I heard Bro.Godwin mention that the Lord had entered this place through Sis.Ida. Yes, maybe the Lord had entered in through her, but I had begun coming to this place after about 7-8 years and I also thought that this is true. At that time Sis.Ida and also some other brothers and Sisters would also speak. But after I began to come and whenever I would hear them speak, I would experience some strange things. As I heard them speak, some words would just come out of my mouth. But I did not understand this strange language. Yes, but I very well understood that these ‘tongues’ were speaking out words against the brothers and Sisters who were speaking at that time. After the meeting I would never utter anything to anybody because Sis. Ida was Bro. Godwin’s wife.

Finally, one day being filled with the Holy Spirit, I went out of my consciousness and spoke some words. I did not know what I spoke. After returning back to my senses, I could see Sis.Ida speaking something In Bro.Godwin’s ears. Bro.Godwin being a good servant of the Lord, but having no knowledge, listened to the voice of his wife and laid his hand on my head and started binding me. But my brothers and Sisters, no one could control the power of the Lord’s Holy Spirit within me. There are many things that I can write concerning these things but I do not want to hurt anyone’s feelings. Because of this incident, I would be very grieved in my heart, but deep within, my heart always carried great peace and joy.

The prophetic Word of the Holy Spirit brings victory

During the end of the year 1994, an open air meeting was arranged by the ministry at Borivili, Mumbai. The meeting was arranged according to the will of the Sisters and brothers who were speaking as prophets in this place. During that time Bro.Godwin and the ministry suffered tough times. Because of this meeting many people turned against him. I did not attend this meeting since I had just begun attending this ministry. During that meeting somebody lit a fire to the stage pandal. But I knew that the meeting which took place, was not our Lord’s will. After this meeting the ministry started sinking and the good Lord started raising His holy voice out of my mouth. He began to lift His ministry up. He started speaking out loud His Words through me. Since that day to this very day in the year 2001, the Lord God has continued speaking His words through my mouth.Because of the failure of this meeting, many people started to leave this ministry. The people confirmed to themselves that the Lord was not really speaking here. But the loving brothers and sisters did not understand that the Lord had chosen this place for His divine purpose. Because of the false prophecies, the people did not respect Bro.Godwin. But because this place was chosen by the Lord, the Holy Spirit openly started speaking His words through me and He started lifting this sinking ministry.One of the problems which the ministry suffered, was a court case. A case was filed against this ministry by some brother. But the good Lord was guiding us what exactly to do. Every detail about where to go, what to do and how to do, was revealed through me by the Holy Spirit of the Lord. As the Lord had spoken and revealed through me, in the same manner the brother withdrew the court case.As a custom there would be prayers in the church at 4:30 p.m. for all the prayer requests. Some brothers and Sisters would gather for prayer. At that time one particular Sister started seeing some false visions. She said that she saw a world map and a snake covering this world map. But as revealed by the Holy Spirit I understood that this was a wrong vision. After some time she also stopped coming to the church. Today she is no more in this ministry. Likewise, many people began to see false visions and false prophecy in the name of the Lord. But because of the presence of the Lord, He did not allow this to continue in His holy place. Many warfares with the evil one were encountered by the church. But because of the Holy Spirit speaking and revealing hidden things through me, the Lord Jesus Christ started giving victory in all the spiritual battles that were encountered. Hallelujah !

During that time, Bro. Godwin was ordained as a Pastor and accordingly he applied for the registration of the church. Previously, whomever he relied on, all of them tried to stop this registration from happening. But the good Lord spoke through me saying, “Apply again and I will give you victory.” In the same way Bro.Godwin did it. And miraculously in a very short time we received the church license. After beginning this church, the Lord started correcting His people. As some feared the Lord, they believed and accepted the words that the Lord spoke through me. But on the other hand many disbelieved and started going in their own ways. The few people who believed are here even today, and the Lord has blessed them in their lives. But the people who did not believe all went astray. Who can go against the Lord’s will.

The Star of Bethlehem Church today

Today all the church members walk in fear according to the will of the Lord. Many marriages, dedications and a couple of funerals have taken place through the church. Even my daughter Padma was married to a good life partner whom the Lord had showed. Many proposals came, but according to the Lord’s will she was married to the boy of God’s choice. Today she is living a happy life with her husband and a three year old boy. They are members of the Star of Bethlehem Church. The Lord added more members.But I would like to mention about the marriage of Bro.John, which was held in the Star of Bethlehem Church. This marriage was according to the will of the Holy Father. The Lord showed him the girl and he willingly agreed and so did the girl. The marriage took place. But as I explained earlier that nobody likes to accept the correction of the Lord. Rejecting the correction of the Lord, many people started speaking against this church. All lies ! I did not fear anything because I was sure in my heart that this marriage was the will of the Holy Father and not my own. The marriage took place with both sides knowing and agreeing that it was the Lord’s will. But our good Lord always spoke to Bro.John saying, ” I know how to bring her.” The Lord many times repeated the same words. Bro.John believed in the Lord and patiently waited for the fulfillment of God’s Word. In the same way she returned back through Bro.John Rabindranath, to the same Star of Bethlehem Church. Today, Bro.John is a father of a child through her. But I believe the same Lord will do the work once again. I know Bro.John will wait for this.

At present our church remains in a transformed state. First of all there is holiness in the church. The Lord always speaks to us in love and in authority. Whenever, He speaks in authority, we are all very happy because He brings us out of this worldly sin. We can then have this ‘Jeevan Jyothi” which means light of life. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Whenever you read this book, learn to give first place to the Lord, then He will give everything to you as He has given me.

The trials continue

Once again dear brothers and Sisters, the evil one tried to attack me through my husband. Whenever I would return from any house meetings, my husband would not open the door. And nearly after half an hour after knocking and calling out his name, he would open the door at his own leisure. On some occasions, hearing the noise, the neighbours used to come out and watch this commotion. It was quite shameful for me, but my good Lord gave me patience to wait and keep knocking till he opened the door. Then one day, he did not open the door for nearly two hours. And finally when he did decide to open, he told me that I had no place in his house and that I should get out of this house. He said, “You decide at this very moment, whether you want me or your Lord.” As I had already made up my mind that the Lord is my first priority, I took a big step in my life. I decided to leave my house and stay in my daughter’s house, which by God’s grace was near to my house.Then the next day, my husband went to Pastor’s house and started complaining about me and told him many things that were not true and unthinkable. Some of the things are that I was not a good lady, that I did not go to the Hindu temple nor attend any Hindu functions or marriages with him neither do I put a ‘tikka’ on my forehead and that I do not take care of my family. He told Pastor to advise me not to come to this ministry. But Pastor did not listen, as he knows the truth which is spoken through me by the Lord Jesus and he knew that no one could stop me from coming. He said to him that my church is open and that whoever has spoken against her or against the Spirit in her is not alive or has lost their peace. He said if you want to try, you try and stop her. But I will not do that. Then he grew very wild on Pastor and started shouting and saying things like; I will give a police complain against this church and say that they are forcibly taking my wife into their fold. But Pastor told him to go ahead and do whatever he wishes to. Then as the Lord promised time and again saying. “I will fight your battle. You only stand on my word.” The Lord proved it when the very next day my husband came to my daughter’s house where I was staying, and agreed that I could continue serving the Lord and he would not be a hindrance for the same. But I should only come back. I thank God for such a change in him.

My dear brothers and Sisters, when you follow the Lord, follow Him fully, because many trials and tribulations will come in your way and the Lord will also test you. But remember, finally God will give you the victory. I would also like to add here that, when I walked out of my house, I had nothing with me. No money, no clothes, but I did not worry for anything as the Lord’s peace was with me and that was the only thing I wanted. The Lord provided me with everything; clothes, money, food through Sis.Janet Amin and Pastor’s family. As it says in Mat. 19:29, “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or Sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.” He proved this in my life according to this Word.

Journey through the Holy Land

After passing this test, which the Lord had set for me, the Lord fulfilled my wish of visiting Israel in a miraculous way. One day the Lords Spirit put a thought in my heart that it was time, we should visit the Holy land. At the same moment without our knowledge, a brother staying in Abu Dhabi had put a request before the Lord, that he wanted to sponsor a visit to the Holy Land for the Lord’s servants. Accordingly, Pastor, Sis. Ida, Sis. Janet Amin and myself along with this brother visited the Holy place without spending a single rupee from my side. i.e. the to and fro ticket expenses, hotel expenses, etc. I was so happy because my Lord fulfilled my dream very soon.

I walked the same way where the Lord Jesus carried the cross. The 14 stations of the cross. Right from the first place, that is the palace of Caiphas, where the Lord was scourged and after that is the place where He was given the cross to carry. The third place again is the stop where Jesus fell down with the cross for the first time. The fourth is where Jesus met His mother when she comforted Him. In the same place, a white marble statue is made depicting His mother and when we saw the face of Mary, we could imagine the sorrow that she felt on that day. On the eight day of Jesus’ birth when Mary brought Him to the temple, Simeon prophesies her in Luke 2:35,

“Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed”.

The same pain was seen on her face. When we see our mothers love for us through Jesus, we cannot stop praising Him.

Isaiah the prophet, has spoken quite clearly in Isa 49:15-16, “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.”and also in Isa 66:13. “As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”The places where Jesus walked carrying the cross today is in the hand of the Palestines. Today on the road towards the cross, there are many shops selling many types of things. But we never stopped even at one shop to purchase anything because we just wanted to reach the top of the hill and see the place where Jesus hung to death.The fifth place is where Simon carried the cross.”And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.” Luk 23:26Who is Simon ? The bible does not elaborate much on who he was. But history explains that Simon was an African, who came to visit Israel. When Jesus was carrying the cross, Simon saw this from afar and felt very sad and thought to himself, why are they giving this good man so much pain. And when He expressed this aloud, the Romans who overheard him, made him carry the cross. But Simon, if he had not carried the cross, would he, who had not heard about Jesus be blessed, is what I wonder?Ps 69:20, “Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.”Finally, we reached the place where the Lord was crucified. Today, there is no cross there, but the hollows where the three crosses were, are carefully covered in glass cabinets. Many of them were touching and kissing the places and laying their petition before the Lord. In the same way, I humbled myself and I reached out my hand into the hollow where the cross was kept. When I put my hand into that place, something strange happened to me. I distinctly felt someone holding the four fingers of my hand and giving me a slight pull. For a moment I wondered and tried to search with my hand in that hollow, but there was nothing in that place. It was only covered with silver on the inside. Immediately the Holy Spirit reminded me of the verse in Eph 2:16, “…that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross..” I picturised the Lord on the cross holding His children’s hand on one side and the Father’s hand on the other and reconciling them both into one. My heart was filled with great peace and tears of joy filled my eyes. The love for my Lord grew more at that moment.After this, we came to the place where Jesus was laid down and His body was anointed and covered with a cloth. Even at this place the Holy Spirit filled me and opened my spiritual eyes and showed me which side the Lord’s head was laid. Then we were led to the tomb of the risen Lord. Today, my brothers and sisters, the Lord is not in the tomb but in that very place, I was filled with the Holy Spirit and joy and gladness bubbled in my heart. Everyone experience’s this in their life, if they give the Lord Jesus His rightful place.On Good Friday day, I have seen people acting out plays by carrying the cross and trying and showing what Jesus experienced at that time. But dear brothers and sisters, does anyone wish to carry the real cross, that Jesus carried? Only He knows the real pain because no one bore so much pain and sorrow for sinners like us.Today many will proclaim, that if I was present there even I would carry the cross for His love. When He fell down with the cross, we would have helped Jesus. But for such people, the Lord says in Luke 9:23-24, “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”

Mat 11:28-30,

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

In the same way, those who will carry His burden, those who will bear His sorrow and those who share willingly, will definitely be blessed and have His grace and mercy upon them. So dear brothers and sisters, let us learn to carry His cross willingly and be blessed.

Know His Love

In Mat 22:37, “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

Before we loved Him, he had formed us in our mother’s womb and loved us. Jesus died for our sins on the cross and showed us how much He loves us. He expects us also to love Him in the same way in which He loves us. He asked Peter not once but thrice, “Peter do you love me ?” To the Ephesian church, as mentioned in Rev 2:4, Jesus says that your Love has now reduced.

“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.”

Holiness

He wants us to be holy like Him and as mentioned in the scriptures,

“For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”

Lev 11:44-45Therefore if you are holy, you will be strong in Spirit and challenge the evil one. You will also be able to pray strongly, but without holiness in our lives no man can see the Lord.”Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”. Heb 12:14″O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.” Ps 96:9.

Children of God, if you are holy the Lord will dwell in you and work through you many miracles. Therefore, from today let us learn to walk, talk, see and hear in holiness. When Jesus will come again, He will only take with Him people who have obeyed and kept His commandments. But the time that He will come, we do not know. So let us correct ourselves from today and begin to lead holy lives.

Humility

Dear brothers and sisters, the Lord always loves humble people. The Lord has mercy only on humble people.”Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.” Prov 3:34″But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble” James 4:6″For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.” Luke 14:11.We should learn to be humble before the Lord and His servants and the Lord will bless and lift us mightily.”An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered” Prov 11:9.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Pray in faith dear brothers and sisters, to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You should believe that He is a mighty God and can prove this through His spiritual gifts. Acts 10:38. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

If the Lord has already blessed you with these gifts, you should keep praying all the more so that He will renew it. Even in the Old Testament, Moses, Elijah and Elisha, the holy prophets, did mighty miracles through the Holy Spirit. In the same way in the New Testament, Peter and Paul brought a revolution through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Lord will bless you with the same gifts as He is not a partial God.

Fruit of the Holy Spirit

Gal 5:22,23; “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

You will be filled with the fruit of the Holy Spirit, if you surrender yourself and your life fully in the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ. People will see Christ’s love in you and God’s name will be glorified through you. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you.

Visitors from Mauritius

When we were planning to go to Chennai, I remember one incident which dear brothers and sisters, I would like to share with you. About 3 years back we received a letter from Bro. Paul Dhinakaran, saying that a brother and sister are arriving from Mauritius and before coming to meet them at Chennai they will be staying for a week in Mumbai. He also said that when he was praying the Lord showed him two Churches in Mumbai and one of them was the Star of Bethlehem Church. He requested us to take care of them.When we were praying about these visitors I got the following verse,”And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go.”1 Samuel 9:6.

As I read this verse, I perceived that this brother and sister had come to see the Lord’s servant for some specific work. So we gladly received them in our Ministry. Then the visitors came to Mumbai and were staying with us at Star of Bethlehem. Mrs. Khedoo gave the message in the Saturday healing service, as she was a Pastor in Mauritius. After the service, when we were sitting in a group and praying she wanted to test the Holy Spirit in me. I did not know whether knowingly or unknowingly. She came to me and told me that we will pray together, and as I joined my hands together, she held both my hands in her hands and began to pray. As usual, the Holy Spirit started filling me. She suddenly separated both my hands with her hands, but I was still full with the anointing. After that, she lifted my hands, but I was yet full with the Holy Spirit. Then suddenly, I realised that she was testing me and then I prayed to my Lord saying, “O Lord I do not understand what is happening, but let your will be done. You know my heart and this sister’s heart.” Then suddenly I was filled more than double portion and her hands were flung away from me. Then she realised that she failed, she just kept quiet and praised the Lord. After this incident, they tried a lot to contact Bro. D G S Dhinakaran but could not get either him nor Bro. Paul Dhinakaran on the phone. They had to finally go back to Mauritius without meeting Bro. D G S Dhinakaran. On the day of their leaving, Mrs. Khedoo had severe stomach pain and she lost her peace. I believe that the Lord tested them whether they were worthy to meet the Lord’s mighty servant. But ended up testing the Holy Spirit of God within me, for which the Lord was not happy. After reaching Mauritus, they wrote to us and they still do keep in touch. I believe after reading this book they will realise that Lord has forgiven them and the Lord will bless them.

Personal meeting with Bro. D G S Dhinakaran

Dear brothers and sisters, Bro. D G S Dhinakaran is no stranger and is well known to all believers. My wish and heart’s desire was that I wanted to meet him atleast once in my life. I never expected that my good God would fulfill it so soon. I wanted to confirm that the Spirit speaking through me is true, because many doubted and were against me and this Ministry. As already written in the Bible in Mathew 10:18-22.

“And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved”.

I was well aware of these verses but as being human I still wanted confirmation and wanted to meet Bro. D G S Dhinakaran. The same Lord spoke through Bro. D G S Dhinakaran and he prophesied that whatever the Lord has promised through Sis. Rovina Nander, Sis. Shalaka Salins including myself were true. He also prophesied many things for me, Pastor and for the Church and many things have already come to pass in mine and Pastor’s life and the Church.I had given a testimony in the Church’s newsletter which I am sure all have already read. But I would like to share it once again which is as follows:”And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 14:13According to the above verse, the Lord Jesus promises us that whatever we ask in his name the Father will grant it to us. In verse 15, He also says that if we love him we must keep His commandments. And He goes on to say in verse 16, that if we keep His commandment, He promises to give the Holy Spirit to guide us. Through the Holy Spirit we can overcome all tribulations of this world. The Holy Spirit of God will guide us through every way.I want to explain this to you, with some recent experiences in my life. About 2 months back, I had the desire to meet Bro. D G S Dhinakaran we kept this matter in prayer, the gracious Lord opened the way and we spent over an hour with him at Chennai. He spoke many things to us, by the power of the Lord’s Holy Spirit. God answered every prayer that we had made in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.But, my dear brothers and sisters before we could get this blessing of meeting the Lord’s servant, the devil began to devise his evil plans. On our journey from Mumbai to Chennai, the airplane shook vigorously for atleast 10 minutes. I perceived that the evil one wanted to scare us and lessen our faith. Then I prayed to the Holy Father in the name of the Lord Jesus and He answered my prayer according to John 14:14. “If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” We reached Chennai safely.We were very happy the night after we met Bro. D G S. With great rejoicing in my heart, I spoke to the children at the Star of Bethlehem Church and shared my happy experience on the phone with great joy. The very next day I got a phone call from Mumbai from my daughter Padma, who was 6 months pregnant. She began to have some problem and called me up crying on the phone. Once again, through the Holy Ghost, I immediately perceived that this was the devil’s work. The devil is never happy when we are happy. I assured her not to worry and that I would pray for her.

I remembered the verse in Deut 28:2

“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.”

I also remembered all that the Lord prophesied through Bro. D G S concerning my family. Then I prayed in the name of Jesus to the Father and then called up my daughter. She replied that the bleeding had stopped but there was no movement of the child in her womb. I yet persisted in prayer to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ and claimed all the words of prophesy and also the work written in Deut 28:4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body…” After this I called Mumbai for the third time at night and asked my daughter about her health. She replied that she was completely well. Praise the Lord!From this experience, we should be aware that whenever we get blessings, the evil enemy will always try to discourage us. Once again, affirmatively I tell you that, whatever you ask in Jesus’ name, the Father will surely answer you.Many spoke against the Star of Bethlehem Church saying that evil spirit was speaking here. Today I am proud in the Lord that I met Bro. D G S and through him it was confirmed that the Holy Spirit who is within me, is true. As the word of God says that all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but whoever speaks against the Holy Ghost shall never be forgiven neither in this world neither in the world to come. Many who spoke against the Holy Spirit within me, are no more in this world and some are still living in total unpeace.Whereas, we in the Star of Bethlehem Church are very happy in the Lord and every church member is blessed with his Love. Whenever we pray for any Church member, the faithful Holy Spirit is always ready to guide us and answer us by speaking to us.

I thank the Lord, that since 6 years he has been using me as His prophetess in this Church. By my own, I am nothing, but in the Lord I can do all things. I give the Lord Jesus all the glory and praise. I pray that the Holy Spirit be with you and the Holy Father answer every prayer that you make in the matchless name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A grand holiday at Khandala

Pastor and myself had thought to ourselves that once all the Christmas programmes were over we should try and go on a holiday as we wished to renew ourselves before the New Year. This was kept in prayer only between Pastor and me. Then suddenly the next day, a particular Sister said she would like to give Pastor’s family and my family a Christmas gift by sponsoring our trip to Khandala. I was surprised and happy how my Lord had put the thought in that Sister’s heart so soon and granted us our wish. I pray and thank that brother and sister for giving us such a wonderful holiday. I believe the Lord will bless them and will always be with them.

I therefore believe that if I give my full time to the Lord, the Lord will bless me according to his promise. I thank my Lord for using me and give full glory to him.

An unexpected gift….. A car

On my return from Khandala, I got an unexpected gift a brand new Golden colour Zen Car. When I was asked about this gift, I prayed to the Lord whether to accept this gift or not. The Lord showed me Gen 14:22-23.

“And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:”

According to this verse, I was not happy. So they explained to me if I do not accept it, the Lord will still help me in a different way. The Lord spoke through Shalaka “I will bless you my daughter”. I therefore give all glory to my Lord Jesus who is fulfilling my heart’s desire even before asking him.

The Lord’s judgement

Dear Brothers and sisters, I would like to share a short message with you. Proverbs 21:2.

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.”

Whatever deserves to be corrected, should be corrected. One does not realise his own mistakes and others mistakes seem to big ones to him. Because of this, when we come into his Holy presence and check ourselves the Lord will show many mistakes. 1 Cor 11:31, the bible says,

“For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged”

The areas in our life that need to be corrected, Jesus will reveal to us. In Jesus’ hand there is a mighty weighing scale, in which he will weigh all our thoughts and judgement will be given accordingly.

In Daniel 5:27,28, we read that the king of Babylon was weighed in the balance and was found guilty.

“TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.”

And in verse 30, the king was murdered and he did not see the next day. Before going to the scale, we have the mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ today. Therefore, from today let us check ourselves.According to this verse, one day suddenly, the Lord’s scale came on Miriam’s life for every account of the word she spoke against Moses. The Lord questioned her as to, “Why did you not have any fear before speaking against my servant? And the anger of the Lord was kindled and behold Miriam became leprous white as snow.” Numbers 12:8,10.

Dear brothers and sisters, be careful before speaking any unwanted words from your mouth, because you have to give account for every loose word you speak against the children of God.

Mathew 12:36. “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”

Ecles 10:12,13. “The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness: and the end of his talk is mischievous madness.”

One should be like the Psalmist, who asks the Lord to search and find him, and to cleanse his thoughts. Ask the Lord to make you to walk in righteousness and pray steadfastly to the Lord. Ps 19:13.”Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.”I would like to mention another thing here. All the Church members know Zubin Salins, Pastor Godwin Salins son. In Zubin’s life, the Lord had promised many mighty things. Some years back in a vision, the Lord gave me a particular verse “Jesus wept” John 11:35, both for Zubin and Roshan to share in the Church. I wondered why the same verse was given for both of them. Today, all have heard a part of Zubin’s testimony, but inside stories are many. I believed Zubin and he hurt not only me, but also his father who had full faith in him. I have already written earlier, that many had given false visions in Star of Bethlehem Church and he is one of them. Finally, Zubin made up his mind to make the children of God separate because he could not cheat his father. How the Lord corrects other Church members, the same way the Lord corrected him many times and asked him not to give false visions. Whatever is written in the book of Leviticus and what a man should not do, he did most of the things in hiding. When the truth was revealed, he started saying that whatever the Lord revealed was lies. Because of this, he took a lot of beating from the Lord and ran out of the Church. In his life, whatever the Lord promised was delayed because of the countless sins and false visions. Today, once again we are praying for our merciful Lord to forgive him as he has accepted all his mistakes and come back. Now I understand the meaning of the verse, which the Lord gave a few years back for Zubin and Roshan to preach.

I have given Zubin’s example especially as a message for the youth of our Church. Therefore, my dear children, do not fall into the same sin as Zubin and do not speak against the servants of the Lord because everything is open before the Lord and He will bring everything to light.

Conclusion

Today dear brothers and sisters, in our Star of Bethlehem Church, many sisters and brothers are being used as the Lord’s mouthpiece because of this, Pastor and I are very happy. We believe that in the coming days as we worship our Lord in one heart and mind, the Lord will abundantly bless us. After reading this book, I am sure you will decide and give the Lord Jesus Christ, His rightful place in your life and walk according to His commandments without thinking twice what people will talk about your belief and life. One should carry the cross in the same way and obey God, as Jesus obeyed His Father’s will.Therefore dear brothers and sisters, let us check our lives today and try and know, what the Lord’s will is in our lives as the Lord is coming very soon. I would like to share a particular verse here, which the Lord revealed when I was praying how to conclude this book.

Zechariach 9:6,7.

“And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines. And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.”

According to this verse, we all know what is the present situation in Israel and I believe that the end is coming soon. The abomination, that is the heathen temple, which is now in the grip of the Palestinians, will soon be removed and the Lord will shed blood out of their mouth and the Lord’s temple will remain there. This is the sign of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Whatever is written in the Holy Scriptures will surely come to pass. Therefore, I pray that each one repents and prays to our Lord Jesus Christ for his or her own salvation.

Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

As the bible says, “And these signs shall follow them that believe;In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mk 16:17,18.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven,and sat on the right hand of God. Mk 16:19.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;because I go unto my Father.Jn 14:12

The above mentioned verses are the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ to everyone who believes in Him. As Jesus never fails, His promises are also everlasting.As I introduce this book Jeevan Jyothi – Vol 2, I pray that God Almighty might increase our faith by reading it.

As I had prayed in the first volume God has enabled Sis. Saroja to write the second volume in a very short time. The response received was great.Let me tell you that I am a living witness to every miracle mentioned by Sister Saroja in this book. It gives me great joy to see God using his daughter in a mighty way. Her great faith in God which has been built on Jesus, the Rock of Ages has helped her to withstand many storms which came into her life.

I am happy to have received an overwhelming response from the readers of the first book.It has really touched the hearts of the readers.

I believe dear readers this second book will help you to expect greater things from God. He said in Isaiah 42:7

“To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.”

If you are in darkness today, let this book give you a new hope that you also can see God’s marvellous light if you believe in him.

Once again I pray that our living God will use his chosen daughter Saroja to bring light and joy in the lives of many in the days to come.

INTRODUCTION

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire,thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”. Isaiah 43:2

Dear bothers and sisters in Christ as per the above word, the promise of Jesus is unchanging yesterday, today and forever. Whoever believes in His name,will never find himself alone as His Spirit will always guide us day and night.

To prove that He is with the Israelites, the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. The Lord who said He wants to be in the midst of his people along with His shekinah glory came down and He is alive and is unchanging and is always with us.

“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed”.Deut31:8

According to this word, the Lord always goes before you and is with you.He will not leave you alone.

The above four examples cited in Is 43:2, are promises given by the Lord Jesusthat His presence will always be with us.

Yes, in all types of sufferings Jesus is with us, He is our strength and His presence gives us peace and happiness according to the Psalmist in Psalms
66:12

“Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.”

When the Israelites came out of Egypt, they had to cross the Red Sea, which was no ordinary task. Before the people was the Red Sea and behind was the army of the enemy. How would they overcome this? Moses was troubled as to what he should do. Children of God, have you to overcome debts,are you unemployed, have you lost hope and reached the stage where youhave left everything in the Lord’s hand? In the height of suffocation,the Lord was with Moses at the time of crossing the Red Sea. The Lord told Moses to raise his rod. As the Lord was close to Moses, just withHis breath He separated the Red Sea. Like Moses if we look only to theLord for help, our problems will move automatically. Children of God whatever the problems do not lose hope, the Lord’s army of angels is withyou. The Lord of Jacob is in the highest as in Ps 46:11
“The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah” The Bible speaks about Daniels three friends –Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego who refused to bow down before the image of gold, which was set up by King Nebuchadnezzar. They were willing to face death in the burning fiery furnace, rather than break the commandment of their God.

When given a last chance by the king, they trusted in their God to deliver them from the fiery furnace and from the hand of the king.Seeing this King Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury and commanded the furnace to be heated seven times more, and the young men to be bound and cast into the burning fiery furnace. The King was astonished to note that the three who were bound were now free and walking in the midst of the fire, and there was a fourth person who looked like the Son of God. According to the Lord’s promise we see that the Lord delivered these young men who trusted in him to the point of death, and delivered them from the burning fiery furnace.

The fire had no power on them, the hair of their head was not signed,their garments were not affected and the smell of fire was not upon them.So is the Good Lord able to deliver us if we trust in Him with all our hearts. We may not be literally put in a furnace but we may face such situations in our life. Dear brothers and sisters look to the Lord Jesus,trust in him and he will deliver your from the fire.

In the same way, He will definitely do the impossible in your lives. Thesame Lord is working through the Star of Bethlehem Church. Many are healedin the name of Jesus especially many are delivered from bondages. I would
like to share some testimonies of brothers and sisters who are deliveredfrom the power of darkness in the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit who is working through me. The testimonies mentioned in this book are all living witness till today.

The result of belief and unbelief

This is the testimony of Sis. Asha Salins, who was suffering from a Tuberculosisgland in her chest and another gland in her abdomen,which would give
her terrible pain. After X-rays and checkups with the doctors from the hospital, it was confirmed that the gland was cancerous.

During those days the Lord was using me through His Spirit to fight against the powers of the evil one. The Holy Spirit gave victory over them in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. One day as we were seated in prayer, Sis.Asha came to the church and joined us in prayers. During prayer time the Lord opened my spiritual eyes and showed me 5 pieces of beetlenut (suparis).I told this to Bro.Godwin, who then prayed to the Lord and started rebuking the evil powers behind this suparis. We all in one accord prayed to the Lord Jesus to heal her. Suddenly, she screamed and fell to the ground and started rolling. There were 5 evil spirits in her which started struggling and blurting out swear words. After much struggling under the torment of the Lord, the evil spirit decided to go out. As the word says in Mark 16:17, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.” According to this word we claimed the victory and she was totally delivered.After she went for X-ray, all her reports were normal and the gland slowly started disappearing.

For many years she was suffering from a huge amount of loan. In order to payoff her loan, she decided to avail the voluntary retirement scheme from her service. But the Holy Spirit revealed through me that she should not do so, but wait for 11 months.

My brothers and sisters, she obeyed what the Holy Spirit of the Lord spoke.She has received double the amount of the salary, that she would have got 11 months back and also an amount of pension. Today she is free from all her loans and is living with her family happily.

I have mentioned only a brief account of her sufferings. She believed and she was healed. After she was healed, Jesus gave her complete victory through this ministry. After this, her husband was speaking against this ministry.He had a big gland on the right side of his forehead for quite a long time. One day his wife, Sis.Asha asked us to pray for her husband. Myself and Pastor Godwin prayed over him and within one month, the gland broke on it’s own. It had 5 seeds in it. But still he was adamant and did not believe that the Lord was speaking through His Holy Spirit in this ministry. He persisted to speak against the Lord. Even when Sis.Asha would tell him about the ministry, he would speak against her also. What happened ? Soon the same cancerous evil spirit returned and took hold of him. He suddenly developed throat cancer. But after it was too late and he was in the final stages, he realised his mistake and came to the church and asked for forgiveness. But as the Word of God says, that there is no forgiveness to them who speak against the Holy Spirit, sad to say he ended his life with the evil spirit.After this, his family lives a completely delivered and happy life in the Lord Jesus Christ. They are also a part of the happy family of the Star of
Bethlehem Church.

“Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord” Eph 5:10

The Lord likes and dislikes. He desires as well as hates things. He accepts and rejects. Because of that Paul says that, what and who the Lord likes He tests and see. Abel and Cain brought an offering to the Lord. Do not think any offering will do. What the Lord likes should be given as offering. Abel thought that since the Lord is the Lamb of God for the world, he gave a Lamb as an offering for sacrifice. Comparing Cain and Abel’s offering, Abel’s offering was greater and the Lord called Abel the righteous man. Does the Lord like whatever we do? Is he happy in our things?Let us think about it. Even if we have to go visiting or, continue a friendship,or purchase a house, or get life partners for your children. Do we ask the will of the Lord? If we pray and understand his will we will be blessed.David prayed to the Lord in Psalms 40:8 “I delight to do thy will,O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart” and also in Psalms143:10. “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.”

Children of God, if you walk hundred percent according to the Lord and decide todo what the Lord likes, He will be glad with you and fulfill your heartsdesire and will lift you up in joy. When we do what the Lord likes he will be happy and rejoice with us and will call us his dear ones and loveus.

As in the Book of Songs of Solomon 7:10 “I am my beloved’s, andhis desire is toward me.” In this Book the Lord repeats many times “My Dear”. When we do the Lord’s will he will be happy and rejoice and then calls us his dear ones and will shower his love on us.

Yes dear Brothers and Sisters will you be his beloved children.

The Lord brings out the truth

Dear brothers and sisters, I would like to share one incident, which took place in this Ministry about six years back.

Near the Church, there was a family of 3 brothers. The elder and second brother, were staying on the ground floor and the third was staying on the first floor. On the first floor, a tenant was staying in the adjacent house. Now, this tenant lady was close to the elder brother’s wife and they used to come jointly to this Ministry. This tenant lady would keep some things in the house on the ground floor and would blame the younger brother’s family, who was staying on the first floor was practicing witchcraft against them. She would tell Bro.Godwin that she could see visions of where the evil bondage is kept. They would come and tell Bro.Godwin and he would lay his hand on the sister who said she can see visions and he would pray on her. During prayer, she would say that she could see where the evil bondage was. Later, the Lord revealed through me that she herself was keeping the bondage and was lying about the visions.

When Bro.Godwin and that sister would go, they would obviously find the bondage. This started to become a regular habit. One day, I happened to go to the Ministry and took my seat in a corner and saw what was happening. When Bro.Godwin was praying on that sister, I started praying within myself, saying that, “Lord many times this is going on, please show me what is happening and show me also where the bondage is?” Then suddenly, I could hear a thundering voice speaking to me saying that, ” She is telling lies in my name and she herself is the one who is keeping this bondage and my servant is listening to her.”

I held my peace at that time, but I informed Bro.Godwin briefly about what the Lord had spoken to me. Bro.Godwin immediately called the sister who stayed on the ground floor in whose house this so called bondages were kept and explained the truth to her. After this the sister seeing the so called ‘visions’ immediately confessed that she was giving wrong visions and asked Bro.Godwin to forgive her. After that day she has never returned back to this Ministry.

As the Word of God says, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.” Similarly, the Lord kept his servant from falling into the trap of deceitful people.

The other sister continues to come to the Church because she knows that the Lord speaks the truth here and His presence is always here and she is a living witness. Till today there is no bondage in that house.

The Lord says that He is powerful, so powerful that in all works He can give us victory. The Lord says that He will not let us slip and that where His Spirit is, in that place He will always keep us happy and save us from all cunningness of man and will give us strength to stand on His Word. Many times our feet may slip, but the Lord assures us that He will save us through His grace. When we feel that we are going to fall, the Lord will command His angels and they will not allow us to stumble and carry us before our feet hit any stones.

During problems and temptations, the Lord will show us a way to come out. The same Lord tells us that He is a mighty God and that He will not let us stumble. Children of God, He shows us the way so that we may not fall nor be weak. He is our creator who came searching for us and removed us from the miry clay of sin. The same Lord will help us stand throughout our life. Let us not fear but only remain in faith and continue the Lord’s work.

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” Heb 12:1

Children of God, many a times sins, demons and temptations will try and lead us in evil ways and will lure us away from the Lord, but you should hold on to the Lord. In the above testimony, I have mentioned how the evil one tried to mislead the servant of God, but we should learn to be careful. In the same way many tried to cheat Bro.Godwin but could not succeed. The Lord brought out the truth.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” 2 Tim 4:7.8

Do not forget the Lord

This is the story of the deliverance of a Christian family, whose testimony is in our records. I am sharing a little part of it with you. This family of Bro.Herbert Ammanna, son-in-law Wesley Soans and son Gladson were under bondage.

Bro.Wesley had severe evil attacks. It was in Jan’1998 after the healing service on Saturday held in our church, he was rolling on the ground and screaming loudly. His wife had come along with him. The evil spirit was trying to strangle her neck through her husband. Then we started commanding the evil spirit in the name of Jesus. Immediately, the evil spirit was quiet. As myself, Pastor and the prayer group were praying, the Holy Spirit spoke through me saying, “I will deliver him, but this family will forget me very soon.” In the same way we prayed continuously for him and he was set free from the witchcraft bondage.

After Bro. Wesley was set free by the Lord, his father-in-law, Bro.Herbert Ammanna invited us to have a prayer meeting in their house. Our prayer group went for this meeting. As one of our brothers was praying, the Holy Spirit moved in me. The Lord spoke and showed me an evil bondage of a needle and thread, which was kept seven years back in their house. The Lord showed me the exact place where it was kept. The Lord asked Pastor to remove it, rebuke it and throw it out. Then Bro.Herbert Ammanna explained to me saying, “Many servants of God have come and stayed in my house. Many said that there is evil bondage in this house. But no one could show it till today. I thank this ministry which has set us free from these bondages.

After this bondage was removed, his son Gladson who was struggling for two years to go on board for a job, received a good job from the Lord.

Our Lord totally delivered this family from all evil bondages. But as the Lord had spoken in the beginning, it has come to pass. He had said, “I will deliver this family, but they will forget me soon.” They are no more in this ministry.

To do the Lord’s work, in this sinful world, we need strength. To overcome the lust of the flesh, the evil one and the world, we need strength. We need strong will-power in our soul and spirit. This ‘power’ is not in the hands of man but is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Humans that we are, we do not understand the way of the Holy Spirit who gives us this strength. How will you get this strength? In the book of Acts, Paul explains that Jesus is the way. He is the One who prepares us and strengthens us. Paul says that Jesus lives in me and strengthens me. Dear brothers and sisters, can you with courage and gladness say this? When you are weak, the Lord Jesus Christ will be your strength.

In the Old Testament, faithful warriors in weakness, gained strength. And with this strength became victorious, Heb 11:34 “Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”

Do you feel that you do not have strength in your body? Do you feel that you are weak in spirit? Are these feelings worrying you? Daily, in faith repeat a hundred times saying, “I am nothing, but with Christ I can do everything” Many times, I repeat these words to myself. Satan will try to make you weak. Guilty feelings, feelings of discouragement, unbelief, defeat and loss will make you weak.

Today, make up your mind to leave all this and stand for Jesus Christ. He is the way and will always be with you and will abide in you. He will not let you stumble and as your guardian angel, He will not slumber. He will give strength to your knees. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. The strength you receive comes from the Creator of heaven and earth. Do not forget this. Ask in faith and be a witness to the Lord, by doing mighty things.

Psalms 18:29, “For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.”

Many will be healed and receive miracles of the Lord and then go away. Even in the Lord’s time, ten lepers were healed but only one came back. Similarly, due to these weaknesses many go back and become frail. But as I have explained above, when we keep our faith truly on our Living Jesus Christ, we can do greater things.

Our Heavenly Father saves us

As usual, one day as I was praying in the morning, the Lord showed me a vision of the family of Sis.Janet Amin who are members of our church. I asked the Heavenly Father in prayer, what was the reason He was showing me this vision. The Lord showed me the time 7:00 a.m in the morning. I finished my prayer and waited for an answer from the Lord about this family.

At about 10:00 a.m., I received a phone call from the family, saying that their daughter-in-law had fallen in the bathroom and many of their family members had allergy on their bodies. Then myself and Pastor Godwin, went to their house for prayers. Before the prayers could begin, the Lord asked me to pray for the servant who was working for many years in that house.

According to God’s will I prayed for the girl, and immediately the evil spirit in her started manifesting. The evil spirit in her spoke many things like, who had done the witchcraft and how they did it. But she did not agree about the time that the evil spirit had harmed this family. Then I remembered the time the Lord had shown me that morning as 7:00a.m. Accordingly, I commanded the evil spirit and asked about this time. The family members remembered that she had gone down in the compound at 7:00 a.m. saying that some clothes which were kept for drying had fallen down from the 2nd floor balcony. My dear brothers and sisters, that was the exact time she met the enemy of this family and she brought two packets of chilly powder mixed with an evil portion. This was the intention of the enemy to use this servant girl, so that she would use this chilly powder in their food and this family would be totally in bondage.

We then commanded the evil spirit to remove these packets from where it was hidden. Then possessed by the evil spirit, she went rolling on the ground backwards, from the hall to the kitchen till the outer balcony. The servant’s eyes were closed all through out this and she removed the evil bondage from where she had hidden it in a carton. Then we prayed to break the bondage and threw it out. We also prayed for the girl and she was delivered. The good Father saved this entire family from going into bondage. As the bible says in Psalms 121:4, “The keeper of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.”

“Carry them in thy bosom as a nursing father” Num 11:12

Our Dear Loving God is a merciful Father. Because of this we can call Him our Everlasting Father. “…His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father and The Prince of Peace.” Is 9:6.

What does Everlasting Father mean? It means that for yesterday, today and forever He is our Father. It is a blessing for us because He abides in us. He carries us just as a father carries his children on his shoulders. When sitting on his shoulders the children put their legs on his chest and are seated without fear by holding his head. And the father walks, plays and keeps them happy. Children think they are sitting on an elephant and rejoice.

Similarly, our Good Lord does not allow us to walk but He carries us on His shoulders. Secondly, as a father guides and gives his children counsel, in the same way our Heavenly father exhorts and comforts every one of us. Yes, our Father speaks to us through His chosen servants and his Holy words in the Bible. His advices are sweet and fruitful. Thirdly, as a father corrects his children, the Lord corrects those whom He loves.

Have we to fear our earthly father or our heavenly Father’s correction? Our earthly father will think what is good for us in the world and corrects us but our Heavenly father will correct us so that we may enter his kingdom, Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Our Heavenly father who loves us takes care of us therefore to get a Father like him we should be grateful; and like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

Have complete faith in God

One more thing I would like to share with you all is about this family’s younger son-in-law. Today, he is a member of this church and strong in the faith. You all must have read many of his testimonies in our church newsletter. I am sharing with you all how he was before coming to this church. His wife was always in touch with our church. Many times she had called us to visit her house. We kept her requests in prayer and finally, the Lord showed me her house and some tiny seeds in a vision. After seeing this vision, we agreed to visit her house. We reached her Versova house and before we began praying, they had offered us some snacks and even as Pastor and Sis.Ida were eating snacks, I was unable to eat. I was thinking what was happening to me. I tried to control myself but could not. I was sitting on the floor on cushions. Suddenly, the anointing of God filled me to overflowing. My dear brothers and sisters, you may not believe me, but the family members are eye-witness to this. Through the anointing with my bare hands, I hit a ceramic flower vase, which was about 2½ ft. in height and it broke. And inside the water there was a small packet containing the same seeds, which the Lord had shown me in a vision before going to the house. The wife believed and she was very happy that the Lord had done this wonderful work. But brother Ramaiah Daniels doubted and told his wife that we were the one’s who had brought and kept this packet.

Because of his unbelief and because he doubted the children of God, he lost his job as G.M at Venue Hotel, Mumbai. His wife asked me to pray for him to confess his mistake and to come to this church. As per her wish I was praying to the Lord. Since he had no job she also asked me to pray for him to get a job. Finally he got a job in Surat. But there was no change in his behaviour. My dear brothers and sisters he lost the job there also. He underwent many problems thereafter. He was jobless for 10 months. Then he confessed his faults and surrendered to the Lord. Then he was baptized in this church and became a member of this church. We were praying for him to get a good job. Our God is yesterday , today and forever the same forgiving God. He blessed this brother and he got a wonderful job with a fully furnished house and a car. What a Good God He is. As humans we have many doubts as this brother, but we do not know the Lord’s ways.

The Lord says in Is 55:9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

This brother has given many testimonies in this church. One of these we reproduce below. Please read it and be blessed.

Diabetes Healed !

I am a member of the Star of Bethlehem Church for the past 1 year. I was diagonised with diabetes in April 1997, subsequent to which I went on a diet, started swimming for exercise and hoped that the diabetes would disappear, but alas! It was there to stay.

On 11th Feb, 2001, during the prayer service at the Star of Bethlehem Church, I prayed as usual for my health. After the service, Sis.Saroja came up to me and said that she had specially prayed for my diabetes during the last prayers, as the Lord had put a burden on her to do so. She asked me to get my sugar checked during the week and said that it was about time for the Lord to heal me. She then had our Pastor pray specially, for healing from diabetes, while she earnestly pleaded with the Lord.

About 6 weeks ago, I had my blood checked and my sugar level had displayed 290 mg/dl. After the prayer when I checked my blood the result showed 109.2mg/dl (Normal range : 70-110mg/dl) Hallelujah! The Lord Jesus Christ has healed me drastically. After 4 years of suffering under this killer disease, today I am healed in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord Jesus my Healer, for this healing. I thank Sis.Saroj and Pastor for their prayers.

Faith

What is Faith? Believe in Him fully. How breath is to man same way faith is to faithful people. With Faith only we can receive all types of blessings. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Paul explains faith very well. Abraham’s faith makes us really wonder. When the Lord called him, without asking any question he left his people, religion and country. He waited patiently for 25 years for the fulfillment of the Lord’s promise. When the Lord asked him to sacrifice Isaac, he believed that even if he dies the Lord will give him life and put Isaac on the sacrifice table. Will the Lord not notice this faith?

Why did the Lord raise David? He is a man of my heart is what the Lord said. What is the secret that the Lord said this? David was in oneness with the Lord, wasn’t he? Goliath depended on his strength but David fully depended on the Lord and could say to Goliath, the Lord whom you spoke against, I come in his name. Dear Children of God if you want to remain the Lord’s beloved always depend and be in oneness with the Lord. The faithful will not fear.

Despise not the chastening of the Lord

This is a living testimony of Sis. Joyce Samuel, before coming to this ministry. She was a Methodist Church member. Her elder Sis. Rachel and other two men brought her to the Star of Bethlehem Ministry in a jeep in an unconscious state. Pastor called me to come and pray for this girl. After finishing my house work, I came to church after half an hour. Since they were Tamilians, I enquired if they had informed the pastor about her illness. Sis. Rachel answered me we have spoken to them but they are not bothered about us.

I felt pity for this young girl Joyce, and we started praying. My dear brothers and sisters the Lord delivered her within half an hour of this evil attack which she had for the past two months. Witnessing her healing, her family was really surprised, and they started attending our church regularly, and after 3 months they became members of this church.

After about one year she started acting as though the Holy Spirit anointing was coming on her. She started speaking many things as though God’s spirit was speaking. We understood that she was giving false prophecies. Myself and pastor corrected her. She cried and prayed and asked forgiveness from me and pastor. After one week these 2 sisters came along with their father to the church to ask forgiveness. After that they have no more come to this church.

Unbeliever becomes believer – Bitter becomes sweet

I would like to share with you how Mr. B R Amin and his wife became believers and how they experienced the wonderful work of the Lord Jesus in their lives.

It was 5 years back the Lord had spoken through me to their other family members belonging to this Church saying “I know how to bring them and I love my son Ramesh”. Ramesh was Uncle Amin’s first name which we were not aware of. They came back to Mumbai from Abu Dhabi after retirement after a long time gap. They wanted to settle in their native place Mangalore. We knew this through their family members. We were praying to the Lord about what the Lord had spoken about him five years back. My dear Brothers and Sisters suddenly one day his brother-in-law Bonnie Uncle came and told us that Uncle Amin has kidney problems. The doctors asked him to start Dialysis. They could not go to Mangalore.

He then started coming to The Star of Bethlehem Church. Oh what a wonderful Loving God, he healed him of his kidney damage. All his reports came normal and he never went for dialysis. He understood God’s Love and power and he surrendered himself to the Lord.

Where they wanted to go i.e. in their Mangalore house there was an evil bondage there. To remove this bondage 3 years ago Pastor and his family and Uncle Amin and his family had gone there. They could do nothing there, because of this Uncle Amin was against this Ministry.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters again the Lord spoke through me saying “I will clear the place.” Then we decided to go. Pastor and his family, Uncle Amin and his family and Myself reached Udupi. We stayed for about one week at Udupi at Udupi Hotel Heritage. We went to the house which was kept locked due to bondage. What a beautiful house it is! After seeing the full house we sat in the hall to pray. The full house was filled with smoke. We continued praying and suddenly the Holy Spirit filled me and spoke saying in the compound to the left there are two bondages and asked Pastor to remove it. Pastor could find only one piece, when they were searching for the second, I was still sitting in the hall and praying in the anointing. Lord showed me the place where the bondage was. It was a medallion of an idol. I went and showed the right place to Pastor. Pastor removed it, we prayed and threw it far in the valley near the bungalow.

Seeing this wonderful work Amin Uncle was very happy. He had one more house in Udupi where he wanted to stay. We went to visit that house. There also the enemy of the family had done witchcraft, so that Amin Uncle’s family could not stay there. As soon as we prayed the anointing came on me and Lord showed the kitchen, we went searching to the kitchen which was closed.

We opened the kitchen door and started searching we found a lime in the kitchen with many paper pins pierced in it. We removed it and threw it out. The person who built the house was also present there and was surprised and frightened. After this we went to see the upper room. Before me people had gone up. I kept my leg on the first step and caught the railing at the begining. I felt some trembling in my hand when I was holding the post. I could not proceed ahead. Those who were behind me were watching me. I told them something is under this post. My Dear Brothers and Sisters they all came and checked the post. In the post below, they had drilled a hole and made hollow and filled with some ash which was a bondage and they had concealed it very cunningly. They had screwed that part and then polished it. We removed the full post and threw it out. Still that post has not been repaired. Anyone not believing can go and visit the place

Seeing this wonderful power of the Lord after we returned to Mumbai, Uncle Amin and his wife became members of this Church. But my Dear Brothers and Sister what the Lord had spoken through me saying “I know how to bring him” five years ago. The Lord fulfilled it. The second part he said “I Love my Son” After coming to Mumbai after ten days, one Sunday morning we got a call saying he is not keeping well. Pastor and myself went and prayed. Then we took him to a nursing home but Bro. Amin reached his heavenly home.

What a wonderful Lord, who had spoken “I Love him” came true. The Lord loved him very much, today he is with the Lord. The Lord led us to the hospital with the purpose that all formalities were done smoothly. It was the first funeral in our Church.

As the Lord says the first shall be last and the last shall be first. What a mighty God we have.

Shall we praise him for His wonderful works.

“And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet:” Ex 15:25

Marah means bitter. When the Children of Israel crossed the Red Sea and was walking in the desert they were very thirsty. When they came to Marah and saw water there they were happy. But, when they went to drink the water the water was very bitter. At that moment their thoughts and mouth became bitter. Then the Israelites started grumbling against the Lord but at that time Moses was separate and he looked up only to the Lord.

Children of God, is your life bitter today. Are you facing defeat or having sorrows in your life? When you are going through that phase of life are you grumbling or praising the Lord? Grumbling is easy but you will not get any answer. But instead if you pray and call out to the Lord, Marah’s bitterness will become sweet. Your defeat will turn to victory.

When Moses was praying the Lord showed him a Tree. The same Lord showed Adam and Eve the Tree of Life. The same Lord shows us today a Tree and is asking us to look at it. When we look at the Tree all the bitterness inside us will turn sweet and we can then see our Saviour doing mighty things in our Life. When He forgives us we will be saved and we will rejoice in our Life. This Tree which he shows us is no ordinary Tree. We should not leave this Tree and run to worldly things, believe astrologers etc. The Father showed and has given us His Beloved Son. Let us look upto him. What is special in this Tree?

Yes, Moses’ prayer was answered and the people witnessed this when Marah’s water was turned sweet. The Lord does not only hear our prayers but he also answers them. The same Lord showed Hagar water. For Abraham the Lord showed a Lamb to be sacrificed instead of his son and for us instead of Marah’s bitterness he is showing us a Tree,

Children of God, are you all praying like Moses? If you pray in faith definitely he will answer you. Miracles will happen if you pray.

Will you pray? Marah’s water is waiting patiently to become sweet. Therefore as written in the word, “What things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters always keep the Lord happy. Everyday early in the morning pray like how David prayed asking the Lord to teach us to do His will; for He is our God: and his Spirit is good. As Paul says “Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.”

Obedience and faithfulness

Once upon a time there was a young girl who had accepted the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She would pray for other souls and would try and teach others about the Lord. She had decided she would do whatever pleases the Lord. Then one day her parents decided to get her married. As her parents did not believe in the Lord Jesus they got her married to a man from another caste. He was a person who lived according to the way of the world.

After marriage, one day he invited her to go to a movie. Fear suddenly gripped her since she had never stepped into a movie theatre before. She did not know what to do. She decided that she would do the Lord’s will, she locked herself in a room and prayed to the Lord and asked the Lord’s advice, for she was in a turmoil whether to please her husband. The Lord spoke to her and she decided to go to the movie. When the movie was going on her husband suddenly turned and looked at her and he found that her eyes were shut. After 10 minutes he again turned and looked at her, this time she was saying “Praise you, Jesus”. Again after 10 minutes he looked at her and this time she was speaking something in tongues. He thought something was wrong with her and asked her to come out of the theatre.

When they came out he asked her what had happened and what she was speaking. Then she started to give her testimony about the Lord and how He had saved her. This testimony about his wife deeply touched him and he received salvation on that day. From that day onwards the wife and the husband started serving the Lord. My Dear Brothers and Sisters this is the same sister who had visited me and had given me the Bible which had changed my life.

If you want to be the Lord’s beloved, obedience is a must. If you obey and keep His word He is happy. His commandments are not so heavy that we cannot carry. The Lord chose Saul as Israel’s first King, but Saul did not obey. When the Lord told Saul to completely destroy the Amalekites, Saul spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen and of the fatlings, and the lambs and all that was good and also King Agag. Samuel the Prophet told this with great pain. “Does the Lord prefer sacrifice more than obedience?” And Samuel said, “Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”

Dear Children of God even if it is anything small or big always obey the Lord immediately, then only the Lord will lift you up and glorify his name in you. Adam and Eve did not obey the Lord. Even the Lord told Jonah to go to Ninevah he went to Tarshish. Then the sea became very rough and there was a heavy wind, Jonah was 3 days in the belly of the fish, because of disobedience. When we obey the Lord his grace is upon us and he loves us. Will he not bless us?

Broken Heart

The Bible says, the Lord loves the broken hearted people. The only sacrifice we can give to our Lord is our broken heart. David had a broken heart. When Nathan the Prophet told him about his sin he did not harden his heart but immediately confessed it with tears in his eyes and asked for forgiveness. If you read Psalms 51 you will read about David’s broken heart. The Bible says that “The Lord heals the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” The Lord is near the broken hearted. “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”

Once two men came in the Lord’s presence. Out of them, one was a Pharisee. He was praising about himself to the Lord and telling the Lord about the many good things he had done. But the Gentile man was praying with a broken heart and was hitting his chest and asked the Lord to forgive him, a sinner. The Lord called him a just man and blessed him. Hannah who never had a child for a long time could not bear it anymore and came into the Lord’s presence with a broken heart. Did she not then bear Samuel?

Yes, Children of God when you come to the Lord’s presence come with a broken heart, the Lord will not let your tears go in waste. Instead of praying for four hours, if you pray with a broken heart for only half an hour the Lord will definitely bless you.

It is a fearful thing to fall in the hands of God

My dear brothers and sisters, I want to share about what happens to them that have no fear of the Lord.

Some time back a particular young boy was regularly attending our church. After some time, he secretly tried to test the Spirit of God.

One Sunday, in the offering bag, he put a Rs.2/- note which was so badly bandaged, that it was not possible to use it. My beloved ones, this brother did not understand that the same Lord saw the poor widow who offered 2 mites in the treasury, was also watching him. We prayed to the Lord, and asked Him to show us who put this Rs.2/- note in the offering bag. The Lord showed the face of this young brother. We waited for two more weeks. But alas! My brothers and sisters, he did not face the third week. He was no more in this world. He died due to an electric shock, while working on an AC machine.

My beloved ones, remember, that if we fall in the hands of the evil one, we have the Lord to save us. But if we fall in the Lord’s hand, we will not find anyone to save us. Whoever have read this incident, fear the Lord. Do not test God. May God bless you.

A family delivered completely

I want to mention about the family of Bro.N.N.Sadarangani, who was suffering from evil bondage since many years, even before the Lord brought me to this ministry. This family was attending the prayer meetings regularly for more than 9 years. For the sake of this particular family, a Pastor from Bangalore was invited, by the recommendation of Bro.John and his friends. He was kept in the hotel for lodging and quite a big amount of money was spent for him. The Pastor enjoyed the money, and proclaimed the family free and delivered, and returned back to Bangalore.

But my dear brothers and sisters, the church members are witnesses that this family’s problems grew worse after that Pastor went. When the Lord brought me into this ministry, myself and Pastor would regularly pray for this family. Finally one day, during the Saturday healing service prayer time, the Holy Spirit of God moved through me and touched the daughter of this family, Sis. Jyothi. She was completely healed. She soon got married, and today is a mother of a child.

Her brother, Manoj also suffered from severe evil attacks. In the same way the Holy Spirit moved in me and touched him. Now he is free and is an owner and running a business of Automobile batteries. The father and mother are so happy. They are praising the Lord Jesus, who has given them freedom from the clutches of evil powers, along with the Star of Bethlehem family. Now they know who are the true believers of Christ, even though they were once gentiles. This family is in the Lord today, but that Pastor is nowhere to be heard of.

Personal testimony

The following is my testimony. Once I was very weak and was having high fever and when I prayed the Lord showed me the verse Zeph 3:17, The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

I immediately felt the mighty Lord strengthen me. The Lord has made this body and Jesus with his blood has purchased us. Our body should be the dwelling place of our Lord Jesus. Therefore, I realised that there is no place for sickness and pain in my body. With faith when we pray this verse will give us strength and happiness. After that till today I have no sickness. Jesus is my strength and I can say that gladly.

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Tim 3 :16

To save each one of us, the Lord came in flesh and blood like a normal human being and lived a humble life. The Bible says that Jesus was justified in spirit and was holy and blameless. According to John 8:46, who can blame him?

“Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?”

When Jesus stood before Pilate, he questioned Him and passed a judgement on Jesus saying that this man is without sin. Accordingly, in this world if there is anyone without sin and blemish free it is Jesus Christ. Peter was the disciple of Jesus and who stayed with Him most of the time. Do you know what testimony he gave regarding Jesus? He said that He did no sin and neither was guile found in His mouth.

Jesus lived a humble life without sin. Because of this our sins are washed and He cleanses us with His blood. The reason being, His blood is pure and all sickness can be washed and all curses can be broken.

As mentioned in the Word, Jesus is the most justified in the Spirit and He gave His blood for us on the cross. Jesus came into this world to save sinners like us. The blood of man is full of sin, sickness, worms and curses of our forefathers on us. Man dies in sickness and is alone because of his own sin and the only way to wash our sins and receive salvation is through the blood of Jesus Christ.

As in the Word, “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.”

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Math 4:4

How Bread gives strength to the body, in the same way the word of God gives strength & life to our spirit. It renews our spirit. The Lord heals and strengthens us through His Word.

Everytime you read the word of God, think and meditate on them. Do not only remember but also have faith on the word. Billy Graham healed many souls because he knew and used the word of God. Even if he preaches for 20 minutes he says for nearly 200 times the “Word of God says”. In the same way those verses touch every spirit. Out of all the world preachers Billy Graham is the one of the most renowned.

Dear children of God if you study more according to this wordly way, it is waste, but if you study the word of God it will strengthen you in spirit and body. This will be profitable for the one who realises this.

Prov 4:22; For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. Ps 8:2

If we praise the Lord it will fill us with divine strength. When we humble ourselves like children and praise him, he will be our strength. The Lord will put all our great enemies below us and will give us victory in whatever we do.

That day when Jesus was in this world, the children praised Him on account of the miracles he did and shouted “Hossanna to the son of David”. On seeing this the Pharisees and the Saducees got angry but Jesus saw that and said

…Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? Math 21:16

Even today, if we praise the Lord the Pharisees spirit will grumble and find out faults and cause hindrances. But we should only praise the Lord Jesus, rejoice and be full in the spirit.

When we are full in the Spirit, we cannot keep quiet. We will dance like how David danced. People will wonder why we are dancing and question us. Yes, divine strength has come into us and our spirit is full with gladness and the Holy Spirit fills us. Therefore, how can we control ourselves and not dance for the Lord?

In praises there is strength. The heavens swayed with the praises of the Seraphims, who praised the Lord saying, “Holy, Holy, Holy”.

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Isaiah 6:3

Since the sound of praises give us strength, even the dead door posts will dance. Then how can alive Isaiah not dance and praise the Lord?

David could not control the strength within himself. He praised the Lord continuously and with all his strength danced before the Lord

And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. 2 Sam 6:14

Yes when the spirit of the Lord is upon us we cannot stop but praise the Lord.

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; Psalm 30:11

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

Many today are living for this world and thinking, speaking and walking in wordly ways. They do not have any spiritual life, nor are aware of the truth. What a man feels with loss or victory erupts from his heart. If there is a change in heart there will be a feeling of goodness, grace and love for the Lord. But if you live in wordly ways there will be feelings of worry, adultery thoughts etc. Children of God always be alert from such feelings. Do not keep your hearts empty but full with the word of God. Remember and memorise the word of God, keep it always in your heart and the Lord will bless you. What is in your heart comes out from your mouth according to the word of God. But if there is Lord’s presence in your heart you will speak the Lord’s word as it says in the Bible a wise man’s mouth disperses knowledge.

If there is knowledge of the Lord in your heart your mouth will also speak the same. Read Apostle Peter’s beautiful verses. The word of Christ will fill you with knowledge. In everything i.e. praising in songs, in music and in all things praise the Lord. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

What is your heart full of with today? Is it with the Lord’s words, his happiness, songs of melodies or filled with spirit, think about it.

Children of God the Lord’s coming is close. Let us try and change and become like Christ in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

If you have the Love of Lord there will be no room for jealousy because Love is the greatest feeling and it bears, believes and trusts everyone and where there is Love there is no room for jealousy. The feeling of Love is like a Dove. All the birds have bitterness in their heart, but see the Dove there is no bitterness. That is the reason why the Dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit in the word of God. The love of the Dove has no jealousy.

Now, from where does this jealousy come? Yes, it was in Lucifer’s heart. He wanted to move ahead than the Lord and when pride came into him he was pushed down to earth. His fall was the greatest, just think about it.

Children of God do not give place for jealousy. Today in families the spirit of Cain is working mightly. When you see your brothers and sisters going up in life rejoice and praise the Lord. When you see their faults do not insult them but pray for them. Joseph’s brother were jealous of him and the Lord had created such a situation in their lives that they had to fall and touch Joseph’s feet. Thus always remember that the Lord will make jealous people fall

Children of God in any situation do not let revengeful feelings come into your heart. Do not allow such thoughts and bitter feelings come into your heart. The Lord says Vengenance is mine and I will repay. Therefore leave everything to the Lord. In the old testament it was a law that you should give eye for an eye and tooth for tooth, but in the new testament this law moved and love came in. Now according to that if any one slaps you on one cheek, Jesus says do not slap him back but give him your other cheek and pray for those who have hurt you.

One should not say I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee. Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way? It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.

A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them. The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy. The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the grey head.

The word of the Lord should always be in your heart and that will enlighten you. One should not do what evil people do. In the Bible there are many examples of people taking revenge like Jezebel wanted to take revenge on Elijah, King Ahab wanted to take revenge on Micaiah, Hamam wanted to take revenge on Mordecai. But the Lord created such situations for the people who wanted to take revenge that their deaths were painful. Revengful thoughts will make us lose our peace and we will fall into a pit of bitterness which is never ending, such so that we will not be satisfied even after taking our revenge. These thoughts are from Satan. Our bitter thoughts were washed by our Saviour’s blood on Calvary and has given us peace in our heart.

One should only remember not to render evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

The will of God

Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them. Numbers 13:2

God commanded Moses to send twelve people, each from a tribe of Israel, to spy the land of Canaan. This was the promised land, which God was to give Israel to dwell forever. All the twelve spied the land for forty days. They were told to bring reports about the land that they were going to inherit.

Out of twelve, ten spies brought a report which made the people fear the Canaanites. They said that the people are giants, we cannot overcome this city.

And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Numbers 13:33

What they were actually doing, was that without having faith in the Lord’s promise, they began to oppose the blessing which God had to give them. The remaining two, Caleb and Joshua, brought a good report. They were people full of faith. They believed the promise of God and were filled with boldness in
their hearts.

Hearing the bad report of the other spies, the people began to weep out of fear. They became greatly discouraged.

“And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.” Numbers 14:

They lost all their faith. They began to murmur against God and Moses.

This made the Lord God very angry and He said,

“Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.” Numbers 14:29

“After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.” Numbers 14:34

God said that all the people except Caleb and Joshua, would die in the wilderness. Only the next generation can enter in. The people lost the blessing of the Lord. This was all because of the spies who spread a wrong report among the people. These spies had no faith in God’s promise and thus hindering His holy will. The promise was delayed by forty years to fulfill.

Similarly, in our lives, God promises us many things. He reveals His specific will to His children. But my dear brothers and sisters, please remember that we should not be like the spies who brought a bad report. We should not murmur against God and His prophets through whom God has spoken His will. What happened to these? First of all, their promise was delayed for forty years instead of a few days. Secondly, all the people that disbelieved, died in the wilderness.

“I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.” Numbers 14:35

Let us not come against the will of God. Let us not go to God’s people and spread a wrong report. Lest the promise of God and His will be hindered. Thus we face the judgement of the Lord.
