Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, may the blessings of our resurrected Lord be with you today and always.
Acts 2:37 “Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
When Peter preached to the people about Jesus and when they heard the Word preached about how they had denied Jesus and crucified Him, their conscience was convicted immediately, and they asked Peter “What should we do?” Like these people, our conscience too must speak to us today; we should also ask ourselves these same questions, “What should we do? How can we be delivered from our sins today?” When we truly pray from the depths of our hearts, Jesus will hear our prayers and instantly wash us with His blood and we will receive the grace to come out of every sin in our life, because Jesus’s blood has power. But, it is important that we take the first step and ask the above questions to receive an answer!
We know that the wages of sin is death, yet Judas did not ask the question “What should I do now that I have betrayed Jesus?” Instead, he went and threw the silver coins before the people who gave it to him and committed suicide. Judas did not come with a repentant heart before Jesus Christ. Though the word says that when we sin, the wages of sin is death; yet, when we go to Jesus with a repentant heart and with this question “What should I do? How can I come out of this sin?” – Jesus is prepared to deliver us out of our every sin, however big or small… even today.
John 19: 28-29 “After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, ‘I thirst!’ Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.” Jesus suffered a great deal as a human being in his physical form on the Cross.
Jesus desired to send down His fire on the earth, but He had to sacrifice His life and suffer in the garden of Gethsemane to kindle this fire. Luke 12:49-50 “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished!”
Why did Jesus break His body so much in the garden of Gethsemane? It was for our sakes, so that He could kindle the fire on this earth. Jesus knew that there was a time and place to ‘kindle this fire’ viz. at the Garden of Gethsemane. Mathew 26:36 “Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus’ sweat turned into droplets of blood. At that time, in that very painful and sorrowful situation, Jesus was arrested and dragged to different places as we see in John 18:13, 24 & 28. Jesus was dragged from place to place, just like a robber with His hands bound; He was tossed from area to area. He was completely humiliated and totally weakened and drained off. For whom did Jesus bear all this humiliation, sorrow and pain? For YOU and ME! Hence, we must not continue in our sins and take for granted the blood which was shed on the Cross of Calvary, but rather confess our sins and get remission from them.
Today, we have one more opportunity to give our sins into Jesus’s hands and confess them to Him. Yes, today Jesus is interceding and praying to our Father God for us. Luke 23: 34 says, “Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” Jesus suffered on the cross for six hours and for all the six hours He prayed the same prayer for you and me. Can there be a greater love than this in our lives? The sacrifice and humiliation Jesus Christ went through for our sakes cannot be compared to anything else in this world. Jesus faced all the suffering so that we may live a respected life on this earth.
Therefore, call out to Him, He is always near you to hear, deliver and bless you. Always remember that HE gave HIS life on the cross of Calvary and rose from the dead on the third day, ONLY FOR YOU!
Let this Easter bring to you and all your near and dear ones love, peace and joy.

Praise the Lord. I met with an accident when I was driving my friend’s car. I thank God that I was not injured at all. However, the car was a total mess. I was scared as to how I would face my friend when I would go to office and I even contemplated committing suicide. At that time, my father gave me the Rose of Sharon Prayer Helpline number and advised me to call and request for prayers. I immediately call the number and the prayer warrior counselled me saying that nothing is impossible with God and also prayed for me. I then went to my office but when I was at the gate I got scared and thought of turning back, as I did not have the guts to face my friend nor the money to repair his car. I called the prayer warrior again and was encouraged to be brave and face the world and was assured of prayers. I followed the prayer warrior’s advice and praise God, that all my problems were solved! I could also subsequently undertake an official sales trip to Bangalore. I have no words to thank our dear Lord Jesus for His great work and for giving me a new life. I also thank the Rose of Sharon ministry for uplifting me in their prayers.

Praise the Lord. I had lots of problem and tension going on within my family. I told these problems to Pastor Saroja and Pastor assured me of her prayers. After her prayers the situation has improved tremendously in my family. My son has now got a job abroad and also sends me money regularly. My daughter too has also got a new job. But most importantly there is peace in my family. I thank and praise my Lord Jesus for solving my family problems and sincerely thank Pastor Saroja for praying for me. Thank You Jesus!

Praise the Lord. My son Irwin had fallen while running, and as he fell down the entire pressure came on his last two fingers and they got swollen. He was in a lot of pain. The pain was so extreme that he couldn’t even bend his fingers. I told this matter to Pastor Saroja. She suggested me to apply only prayer oil over it and not to fear. I just kept applying the prayer oil and within a week his pain as well as the swelling went away. I give all glory to Lord Jesus for healing him and I also thank Pastor Saroja for her prayers and advice.

A man started to walk on a rope tied between two tall towers. He was walking slowly, balancing a long stick in his hands and had his son sitting on his shoulders.
Everyone on the ground were watching him in bated breath and were very tensed. When he slowly reached the second tower, every one clapped, whistled and welcomed him. He asked the crowd “Do you all think I can walk back on the same rope now from this side to that side?” Crowed shouted in one voice “Yes, Yes, you can…” . “Do you trust me? he asked? They said, “yes, yes, we are ready to bet on you.” He said, “okay, can any one of you give your child to sit on my shoulder; I will take the child to the other side safely.” There was stunned silence. Everyone was quiet!
Belief is different and Trust is different! To Trust we need to surrender totally but this is what we lack today towards Jesus! We BELIEVE in Jesus, but do we TRUST Him?
Dear brothers & sisters start trusting JESUS, just as He trusted His Father and came into this world for all of us. He showed His love for us by sacrificing His life on the Cross of Calvary and rose up again on the third day & is alive forever. Trust that Jesus is Alive today & He is with us to hear our prayers and deliver us from all the worldly sorrows and bless us with abundant blessings!!
Malachi 3:3 “And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.” As we have read in the Word, the Lord God keeps constantly purifying His children to make them pure as gold. No one tests ordinary metal in the furnace, it is only gold and silver that is put to the test in a furnace and purified. Our Lord God puts His people into the furnace of cleansing and purifies them. Fire destroys all impurities in a metal and when one puts gold or silver into the fire it gets purified. In turn, when God’s people are put into the furnace of cleansing, they get purified and become strong believers for the Lord. 1 Peter 1:7 “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” Why does God put us into the furnace of cleansing? It is to test our faith in Him. Fire in our lives can be in the form of sorrow, pain, illness and uncertainties in our life. When we are put into the fire, our deepest faith is put to the test. When there is no suffering and persecution in our life, no one can check our faith, but when we go through suffering and persecution our faith is put through the test, and it is at that time our inner strength for the Lord overcomes the pain and sorrow and sufferings of our life.
We know how in Job’s life he was put to the test so that his faith for God could be checked. Job was put into the furnace of suffering where he lost all his loved ones in his life, all material wealth in his life and where eventually he was physically inflicted with sores, yet through all his pain and suffering, Job silently bore all without murmuring. Job 23:8-10 “Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job realized the truth that God was purifying him through all his trials and tribulations in his life. Even in our life, when we are put through trials, tribulations and sufferings we must understand that we are being tested by God, so that we may be purified for His Glory alone. 1 Peter 1:16 “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” God’s Word says ‘You be holy, just as I am holy.’ The Love of God wants us to be pure like Him, hence when we are put in the furnace of cleansing, God purifies us as gold. God allows sufferings in our lives, so that we may be purified as gold and silver. If there is no suffering, pain or sorrow in our life we will not be able to see God’s love in our lives. We must pass through all this successfully, only then will we become pure, righteous, and as gold for the Lord. Job knew that when he passed through all this successfully, he would be pure as gold for the Lord God. The Word says ‘Our God is Holy, You be Holy too.’
The Word also says we must be pure for the Lord. The Word says that our God’s head is as fine gold and we are His body. Hence we must also become gold for the Lord. Our God is pure and we must also become pure. Our God’s head is as gold and we the congregation are His body, hence each of us must also become as gold for Him. That is why we are put into the furnace of cleansing to be purified as gold for the Lord. When we take a piece of jewellery to the goldsmith, we may tell him that the gold content is 5 grams in weight. But the goldsmith will weigh and test the same and may say that it is only 3 grams of gold and the rest an amalgamation of other cheaper metals. Yet he says that this will be confirmed once it is put into the furnace and checked for its purity. Similarly, we may be a believer, yet the Lord God has to put us into the furnace of cleansing to check our faith within us and we must pass His tests successfully. Only then can God see our faith for Him. Song of Solomon 5:11 “His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.” God’s head is gold, for Christ gained victory through all the trials and tribulations He was put through when He walked on the face of this earth. Remember the humiliation that Jesus Christ went through in this world? Likewise, we too need to go through similar humiliation in our lives and come out victorious for God to be glorified in our life. Jesus had to defeat the evil one on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus said in John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Just as Job said ‘Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him. On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hides himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him. But he knows the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. But when I look through the trials and tribulations that God has put me and when I come out victorious from this suffering, I will be gold for my Lord God,’ in our lives too, God lets us go through suffering, pain and sorrow in our life, so that our faith in Him is tested and when we are purified we will come out as gold for Him. We may say that we are believers but for our faith to be tested, we need to go through pain, suffering and sorrow in our lives.
The Apostle Paul says in 1 Peter 4:12-13 “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” To enter the kingdom of God, we will need to pass these tests of trial and tribulation that come our way. We have to clear this ‘immigration’ to reach the kingdom of God. Unlike the people of this world, we cannot ask God why this infliction has come upon our lives. From the beginning of creation, this is the test that God has kept aside for mankind. If we entwine ourselves with God and move forward in life, we will become partners with God and reach His Kingdom. Unless we become pure and righteous, unless we are purified and become partners with God, we cannot reach His Kingdom. This is why God puts us into the furnace of cleansing. Psalm 119:71 “It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.” David said ‘because of the afflictions that have come upon me, I could learn your statutes.’ Just like David, we too can learn a lot during our time of affliction. We must not sin or falter, but we must in faith move forward and refine ourselves into gold or silver for the Lord God. We have to become partners with God to move forward with Him. Romans 8:18-21 “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” At the time of our affliction we must humble ourselves and follow the Lord. The sorrow and pain that we will bear now is nothing compared to the joy of the coming times. No money can buy this for us and there are no shortcuts in life. If we live our lives righteously, only then can we reach His Kingdom. There was a man who reached the wedding banquet, but could not partake in the celebrations for the Host came and caught him by his collar and asked him how he dared to enter the banquet hall without proper wedding garments. He instructed his people to catch him and throw him into darkness and hellfire. In the same way our God will also ask an account of us on that day of reckoning when we go to His Kingdom. Today, our Lord God as a friend, father and Saviour, with love is correcting and counselling us. We will need to go through the furnace of cleansing and be cleansed to become pure as gold and silver. Again and again God tests our faith in Him, that we may partner in Him and gain entry into His Heavenly Kingdom.
The Apostle Paul says in Hebrews 12:9-13 “Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.” Our worldly father will punish us and we do not commit wrong out of fear for him. But the Word says ‘Do not fear those who will destroy your physical body, rather fear the One who can destroy your soul.’ Our Father in Heaven can do mightier works for us than our worldly father, hence we must fear HIM. Our worldly father will correct us only till a certain age, till we marry. After a child is married, the parent hands over this responsibility to the spouse to correct the partner. This is all that the world has to offer us. But our heavenly Father will take care of us till the end of our lives. He will never ever leave us nor forsake us. He does not care for us only for a day or two, but He cares for us that we may ultimately reach His Heavenly Kingdom. With every correction, we must renew our lives from the core, or else the correction will be useless if it doesn’t change us. We must ensure that our knees bow down to Him in His Holy Temple and that we are humble before Him. In this world we will have trials and tribulations, but we must be of good cheer, for God has overcome this world.
Malachi 3:2-3 “But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.” We must not see the fire and fear God, we must be rest assured that this fire is not sent for our destruction, rather it is sent to purify us as gold and silver. This fire is life giving and not life taking.
In the Holy Scriptures we know of how God spoke to Moses through the burning bush, yet the bush did not burn or get destroyed and is alive even today. Similarly the holy fire does not destroy us but rather cleanses us so as to purify us as gold and silver. Job 42:11 “Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.” Here we see that Job’s friends and relatives gifted him gold, since they saw he was worthy of gold after all the affliction he went through in the furnace of cleansing, trials and tribulations. Revelation 21:21 “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.” Imagine, the road in the Kingdom of God is paved with precious gems! No unrighteous person can reach the Kingdom of God. The streets are golden. No robber can reach there. It is surely a ‘Paradise’ where God will take us into His Heavenly Kingdom.
The fire that came from heaven came for different reasons. Remember, the heavenly fire normally brought only blessings into people’s lives. This fire came down upon Solomon’s temple when he prayed and called down fire from the heavens. The fire spoke to people in different ways. On the other hand, the fire that came down upon Sodom and Gomorrah, came down to destroy the city for sin abounded in this place. Daniel 3:19-27 “Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.” We read here how the Heavenly fire and worldly fire met, wherein the worldly fire could not win over the heavenly fire. The worldly fire is a flame of anger while Heavenly fire is a fire that transforms people. The worldly fire consumed the people who put Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego into the fire, while the three of them were untouched by this fire in the furnace. The three of them who survived the furnace and came out alive were now pure gold for the Lord since they were thoroughly cleansed in the furnace. In our lives, we will undergo many trials and tribulations, but these are sent to purify and not to destroy us. Proverbs 29:16 “When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.” Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the furnace alive. The world will be full of unrighteous people, but the righteous will see the downfall of the unrighteous. We must live in God’s love and fear, only then will we see the fall of the evil one. Our God has already promised us what is written in Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Yes, when we cross the waters and rivers, we will not drown. Nor when we walk through the fire will we be consumed. God will take care of us in different ways.
The Prophet Elisha was a righteous man, and Jezebel, the King’s mother tried to persecute him several times, yet the fire she sent to kill him could not consume him. Rather, the fire from the heavens above lifted Elijah in the chariot and took him alive into the heavens. 2 Kings 2:11-14 “And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.” There is nothing greater than the fire of heaven in our lives. It is this fire alone that will lift our lives in the end. Similarly, in our lives too there will be different fires that we will face, but we must always strive to be cleansed by the Heavenly fire and not let worldly fires consume us. 2 Kings 2:11 “And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” Both Prophets Elijah and Elisha were walking along when all of a sudden a fiery heavenly chariot came down and lifted up Elijah and took him away, the fire separating Elijah from Elisha.
As we all know, when the end time comes there will be two and one will be carried away whilst the other will be left back on this earth to suffer. We must be purified like those seated in the upper room during the day of Pentecost who were filled with the Spirit of God and began speaking in tongues. It is God’s desire for us that we be filled with His Spirit and live a righteous life to finally reach His Heavenly Kingdom.
Let this message be a blessing in everyone’s life who reads it. Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord! This month we held a General Class for all the Sunday School children. During this class the children were explained the story of the “USER MANUAL”.
Once upon a time there were 2 friends called Sam and Josh. It was Sam’s birthday and his father gifted him a new car. When the delivery guy arrived, he handed him the car key and said, “Sir, I need to give you a demo so that you can understand as to how to use the car.” Sam refused and said, “I know everything and I do not need your advice or demo.” Hence the delivery guy quietly handed over the key and walked away.
Just then Sam’s friend Josh arrived and congratulated him for his new car. Sam thanked him and said, “Let’s go for a drive.” Sam pressed the key to open the car, but the car did not open. Surprised as to what was happening, he kept pressing it profusely, but the car did not open. Just then Josh asked him , “Sam, did you read the user manual or did you take a demo from the delivery guy?” Sam very arrogantly said, “I know everything and don’t need a user manual or a delivery guy to explain to me anything.” Finally, after a lot of struggle, Sam somehow managed to open the car. After entering the car, he wanted to put on the music. But he did not know how to put it on. Again Josh said, “Sam since you were too proud to take the demo from a delivery guy, atleast now refer to the “user manual.” Very angrily, Sam refused saying, “I know everything and don’t need user manual.” After much difficulty finally, when he started the car instead of going ahead he reversed the car and banged it to a wall and damaged the car very badly. When he got down from the car and saw the damage done, he realized his mistake and very sadly told Josh, “I regret my decision. I should have listened to the advice of the delivery guy and taken a demo or atleast read the user manual. But now its too late, the damage is done.”
Through this story the children learnt that each one has a “user manual” for their life and for us as Christians, the “USER MANUAL OF OUR LIVES IS THE BIBLE”. We need to read the BIBLE and if we do not understand as to how to use it, we have the Lord’s servants as Pastors and Preachers of the Living Word, who can explain to us as to how to bring it to practice in our lives.
Do continue to pray for our little children for God’s protection and blessings upon their lives always.
Praise the Lord. My name is Sunanda Chouhan from Chattisgarh. I was not conceiving even after four years of marriage. During that period, I tried a lot of medication but there were no results. My doctor told me that both my tubes had blockages as a result of which I was not being able to conceive. He suggested that I get operated for the same and the operation costs would be approx. Rs. 2 lacs. This amount was too huge for us and hence I could not go ahead with the operation.
One day, I was watching the Rose of Sharon Church TV program on Shubhsandesh Channel. After Pastor Saroja’s message, in faith, I contacted their prayer helpline and shared my problems and requested for prayers. After prayers by God’s grace, within one month I conceived. Throughout my pregnancy, I kept contacting the ROS prayer helpline for prayers and now I have given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
My husband and me, both give all glory and praise to our dear Lord Jesus for such a great miracle in our life. We also thank the ROS Ministry for their constant and fervent prayers made for me and my child.
Thank You Jesus.
