Praise the Lord! It’s the month of ‘Harvest,” and I pray to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that each of you may have an abounding ‘Spiritual Harvest’ in your lives.
Hebrews 11:25-26 “Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.”
Pharaoh’s palace was filled with unimaginable royalty, and Moses lived a luxurious life in this palace for a major part of his life. But gradually, a situation arose in Moses’ life wherein he had to choose between a rich life at Pharaoh’s palace and a struggle to obtain freedom for the Lord’s people! A choice lay before Moses, and he decided that he would prefer to suffer for the Lord along with his people, rather than to enjoy the luxury of living in the palace. Moses did not lack anything at Pharaoh’s palace, but when he learned the truth, he realised that all the riches of this world would perish, and only God and His love would be permanent.
Likewise, in our respective lives, during our spiritual journey with Jesus, our faith will be put to the test daily. Each one of us will be faced with a situation to choose – between the joys and richness of this world vs. the Lord and His people. At that time, remember Lot, and choose wisely. Lot chose the city of Sodom and Gomorrah because he saw with his human eyes that it was so green and fruitful, little realizing that it was a city that God was planning to destroy. Many of us are so invested in our present that we cannot see the future with our human eyes. When we are faced with such situations, we must always remember to choose wisely under God, with guidance from His chosen ones. Revelation 2:10 “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” The joys of the world come with an expiry date, but the joys with God and His presence have no limit, and the best part is that it is not limited to only our earthly lives, but also to our eternal lives.
As the Scriptures say, Jesus looked to Jerusalem and wept. Likewise, God sees many of our hearts and minds and is weeping at our ignorance, because He knows the future. James 1:8,7 “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.” We must never look for material gains in our lives, lest we lose our spiritual blessings. We must always, with our full heart and mind, try to follow God, whatever the circumstances.
Hence, dear children of God, whenever you are at life’s crossroads, having to choose between the riches of the world vs. God and His people, always choose to be with God and His people, as only this will enrich our lives; everything else in life will perish. As the Holy Scripture says in Mathew 24:13 “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”

Praise the Lord. I had a property in Ahmedabad. My mother had expired 5 years ago, and my family and relatives were not ready to sell the property. I needed money, as I had recently trapped myself in an online scam, wherein my loss was ₹25 lakhs, which I needed to pay to the bank on an immediate basis. I had told this matter to Pastor Saroja, and she assured me of her prayers. She consoled me more than a mother would have done. By God’s grace alone, within 1 month, the process of selling the flat and receiving the money and paying off my outstanding was completed. To sell the property was a really difficult task, and several hindrances came in the way of this happening. Many agents failed to clear the way, but my Lord made the way! I give millions of praises to our dear Lord Jesus Christ for sorting out my problem once and for all, and for saving me from big trouble. I also thank Pastor Saroja for her fervent and tearful prayers for me and my family. All glory to Lord Jesus alone. Thank you, Jesus!

Praise the Lord. A few weeks ago, I had very severe chest pain. The pain was increasing gradually and slowly I was unable to breathe. I took prayer oil and applied it over my chest, and prayed, promising God that I would testify of His marvellous healing, as I believed the Lord would heal me from this situation. Soon after, the pain vanished. I give all glory to Lord Jesus for healing me, and I also thank Pastor Saroja for her fervent prayers over the prayer oil. Thank you, Jesus!

Praise the Lord! Both of my children, Irwin, and Sara, had very high fever due to which they were not eating food and were feeling very weak. Praise the Lord. By the grace of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, I got a job in the sales domain in the month of June 2023 – a completely different job role from my previous job. I was given certain monthly sales targets and revenues to meet. By God’s grace, I successfully generated good revenue for the Company by the second month. Later, the management changed the shifts and made Saturday and Sunday working days, due to seasonal peak period and additional revenue generation. I spoke to my manager about this, telling him that at the time of my recruitment I had discussed with HR that my sole purpose of joining this Company and changing my job role was to enable me to have weekends off, to attend Church. I told him that HR had assured me in this regard. My manager replied that in such a growing startup company, the rules keep changing. He said that if I achieved my targets next month, I would get the weekends off. If not, I would have to work on weekends to achieve my target, failing which, I would have to leave the company. I tried my best, but I couldn’t achieve the new, higher targets. My manager now told me I had to leave the job. I spoke to the HR department, but they offered me another post, offering me a low salary.
I immediately decided to leave this job and tried searching for another job, but I was not satisfied with the results of my search. Due to my low experience and domain change, many recruiters told me I would not get a job, and that I would have to join a new job with a low salary. I was deeply saddened and did not have the courage to speak to anyone, and I felt ashamed and sorrowful. I cried to my Lord, saying, “Lord It was you who gave me the job after waiting 6 months, and now the management has removed me on the basis of no weekends, please remember me, Lord.” At that time, I even got fever, and prayed to God to heal me and take away my pain and reproach. Miraculously, after an hour, my body started sweating, and my fever left. I then received a call from an unknown number, wherein a lady said that somebody shared her my resume. It is a fixed, weekend-off job, very close to my area. I was shocked and delighted when I heard this. I confirmed and went for the interview the very next day. The Lord helped me crack the interview and blessed me with a higher salary and a higher position. This happened all so quickly by God’s grace, that even while all my final closing formalities of my previous job were happening, I had now a new job in hand.
I would like to say, ‘No Nothing is too hard for our Lord.’ I deeply thank God, and my Pastor Saroja for always keeping me in her prayers, and for her advise from time to time. Thank you, Jesus!

Praise the Lord! This testimony is about my father Monu, who suddenly got a seizure. I called up the Rose of Sharon prayer helpline for prayers, and I told them our prayer request, believing that in the holy name of our dear Lord Jesus Christ, my dad would be healed. My father is completely fine now, and I give all glory to Jesus. We also thank the Rose of Sharon team from the bottom of our heart. Thank you, Jesus.

Once there were three trees on the top of a hill overlooking a small valley. There they discussed their hopes and dreams.
The first tree said, “Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I want to be filled with gold, silver, and precious gems! I’ll be decorated with intricate carvings and everyone will see my beauty.”
The second tree spoke next, “Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take Kings and Queens across the seas and sail to the far corners of the earth. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull.”
Finally, the third tree said, “I want to stay right here and grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will look up to my branches as I stand on this hill and think of the heavens and how close I am to reaching them. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me.”
After a few years of praying their dreams would come true, a group of woodcutters came upon the trees. When one of them came to the first tree he said, “This looks like a strong and beautiful tree, I think I would be able to sell this tree to a carpenter.“
He began to cut the tree down. The tree was very happy because he knew that a carpenter could make him into a treasure chest just like he dreamed.
At the second tree, another woodcutter spoke, “This looks like a strong tree, I should be able to sell this tree to a shipyard.“
The second tree was even happier than the first tree because he knew that he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.
When the other woodcutter saw the third tree, the tree was frightened because he heard the woodcutter say, “I don’t have any special need for this tree, but I’ll just cut it down and see later if I will have any need of it.”
The third tree thought that his dreams would never come true now!
When the first tree arrived at the carpenter’s, he was surprised to be made into a simple feed-box for animals. He was placed in a barn and filled with hay so the animals could eat. This was not what the first tree had dreamed of, or prayed for, and he was very disappointed.
The second tree was taken to the shipyard, but he wasn’t made into a large ship. He became a plain fishing boat with only the strength to carry a few fishermen. His dreams of being a mighty ship, carrying Kings and Queens across the seas, faded away.
The third tree was cut up into large ugly beams and then left all alone in the darkness.
Many years went by, and all three trees forgot about their hopes, their dreams, and their prayers.
Finally, one day a man and a woman came to the barn to stay because there was no room anywhere else. The woman gave birth to a baby boy while she was there, and she placed him in the hay in the plain, simple feed-box. The man wished he could have made a proper crib for the baby but this feed-box would have to do.
Somehow the first tree felt the importance of this event and knew that he had indeed held the greatest treasure of all time!
Some years later a group of men got into the small fishing boat made from the timber of the second tree. One of them was tired and fell fast asleep. A great storm came up and the second tree did not think he was strong enough to keep the men safe.
The other men in the fishing boat then woke the man who was asleep, and he said, “Peace!” and the storm suddenly stopped.
Now the second tree knew he had indeed carried the King of Kings!
About three years later, someone came and pulled the third tree’s beams from the dark shed. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop on top of a small hill, they nailed the man to the tree. Then they raised it into the air for Him to die there. The tree shuddered in shame.
When Sunday morning came though, the third tree suddenly came to realize that it was indeed strong enough to stand on the top of a hill for all to see and know he was closer to heaven than he could ever have imagined.
That was better than being the tallest tree in the world!
This HARVEST season, let us learn to submit ourselves to our Lord’s Righteous Hands as His plans for our lives are much greater than we can imagine!
Be encouraged! God says in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
2 Timothy 4:5 “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” God gives talent to those He loves, and chooses them to do His service. In this world, before we are recruited by any company, we face an interview, post which our selection is done. We are then told the company policies that we need to comply with, and finally given an offer letter which we need to sign and accept. However, our Lord’s service is unlike the service we do in this world, wherein the Lord first chooses us, and then blesses us with talent to accomplish the job He has selected us for. The work we do for the Lord cannot be done by our wisdom and knowledge, or even our qualifications. At the Cross of Calvary, Jesus has blessed us with His talent for us. John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” We have not chosen God, rather, He has chosen us. We must always remember that when God chooses us to do His service, He also makes us worthy of doing that job. He blesses our lives so that we may be fruitful and bring glory to His name. God gears us up and prepares those of us who love Him and are prepared to serve Him truthfully.
In the Bible, Saul pursued God’s congregation to destroy it. Later, Saul was convicted by the Lord, and God used Saul for the extension of His glory on this earth. Saul had earlier destroyed and killed believers and followers of Christ; but when Saul was convicted, God used him for His glory. After that, Saul who became ‘Apostle Paul’ wrote many books in the New Testament, and the same has become a ‘light’ for us today. Acts 20:24 “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Saul had acquired His service directly from God, viz. from the Cross of Calvary, i.e., from Jesus Christ, to do His service on the earth. We know how Apostle Paul worked for the Lord and later faced persecution himself. His desire in life, after God chose Him, was to complete the work at hand that God had given him. Saul never thought of the sorrow, pain, or persecution he was going through. His only desire in life was to fulfill every work for the Lord perfectly. In the Old Testament, the service that people did was like that of a servant-Lord relationship, but in the New Testament, this relationship has completely changed and is now that of a Father-child relationship. Colossians 4:17 “And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.”
The Word says that we must diligently perform the service we have received from God. Since the relationship is akin to that of a Father-child, the Father’s eyes are always stayed on His children. God always keeps an eye on the works done by His children.
In this world, when we work in an organization, it is only for a limited time, but when we work for the Lord, it is forever. God wishes to speak to us anytime, and we must be prepared to hear Him when He wishes to speak to us. The Word says, ‘Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfill it.’ The Father always keeps His eyes upon His children. When we are vigilantly and diligently doing God’s work, we will never need to go seeking blessings, rather the blessings will come seeking after us. 2 Kings 4:8-10 “And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.” When we do our Lord’s work sincerely, it is He who showers us with His blessings. Here we see the reverence the Shunammite woman had for Prophet Elisha. Whenever Elisha visited the place Shunem, He stayed at her home. The Shunammite woman told her husband that they must prepare the upper room for the holy man, Elisha. Here is an example of how blessings were showered upon Elisha’s life, even as he sincerely continued to work for the Lord.
Mathew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” We must first seek the kingdom of God, then automatically every need of ours will be provided by God. Why do we need to do service for the Lord? We need to do service so that God’s Word is taken to the ends of this earth. 2 Timothy 4:5 “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” When we do service for the Lord God, He will provide all that we need to ask for. He is an Almighty God!
God said to Abraham in Genesis 17:1 “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” God asked Abraham to be blameless and to walk before God perfectly. When we walk crookedly for the Lord, we cannot serve Him. We cannot walk before God according to our wisdom and knowledge, but rather we must walk according to His will alone. Our God is a great God, and He is our Almighty Father. 1 Timothy 6:16 “Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.” No one can stand before our God who is mighty and is a shining light. The same God alighted amid the Israelites during their praise and singing.
Imagine, what a wonderful and loving God we have in our midst! Psalm 22:3 “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” A God that no one has ever seen, whose shining light we cannot stand before – this same God alighted amid the Israelites whenever they praised and sang worship to Him.
Our praise and worship should be as a sweet fragrance and aroma for the Lord. This praise must come from our hearts, and not only from our lips. The Word says, ‘Our God is a Holy God,’ hence our Holy God will accept only the praise and worship of such. Is our praise and worship similar today? Is it pure for the Lord?
Let us examine our lives today. When we boil milk, we do not reuse the same dirty vessel. We wash it clean after use, or else the new milk will split when boiled in an old dirty vessel. Similarly, we must cleanse our sins from our hearts every day and purge them out, before singing praise and worship to Him. This is acceptable to our Holy God, and He will come into our midst during our praise and worship. David says in Psalm 34:1 “(A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” David wanted to stay close to God every moment of his life, so He praised God continually in His heart. We cannot buy God with our riches, gold, or silver; we need to praise and worship God continually in our hearts. We must become a pure vessel of praise for the Lord. Then, our Lord will not be far from us, rather, He will always be close to us. Psalm 147:1 “Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.” We must be a vessel of praise for the Lord.
The Ark of the Lord was a covenant between God and man. During the end of the reign of judge/priest Eli in the Bible, the Philistines defeated Israel and took away the Ark of the Lord from their midst. The Word says that ‘the Glory of God was taken away from the Israelites when the Ark was taken from their midst.’ When the Ark was in their midst the Israelites felt the presence of God amongst them every moment, but when the Ark was taken away, the glory of God left them too. 1 Samuel 4:22 “And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken.” The Ark of the Lord then brought sorrow and pain to the idol worshippers who took it away. When the Philistines captured the Ark, they kept it in their temple amongst other idols. The Ark of the Lord proved to be destructive for the Philistines.
1 Samuel 5:1-12 “And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon’s house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day. But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof. And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god. They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about thither. And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts. Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people. So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there. And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of the city went up to heaven.” In the above passage, we see that when the Ark of the Lord left Israel, the glory of God left them, and when the Philistines placed the Ark of the Lord in their temple, there was a great fight in the temple at night between the Ark and the idols in the temple, bringing great destruction in their land in different ways. Our God is a majestic God, He can do marvellous things in our lives. Whenever we hurt God, we lose His grace in our lives and invite punishment into our lives. Today, our relationship with God is like that of a Father-child relationship, and we must always keep the Lord God with us as a prime focus of our lives.
2 Kings 4:8-10 “And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.” Now the prophet Elisha in turn wanted to do something for the woman, so he asked his servant how they could help this Shunammite woman. The servant told Elisha that while she was blessed with much, she did not have a child. So, Elisha prayed for her, and she was blessed with a son. One day the son died. The prophet Elisha prayed for the Shunammite woman’s dead son and resurrected him, bringing him back to life.
Similarly, in our homes, when we give God and His servants such a pedestal, God blesses us in different ways, beyond our understanding. When the Ark of the Lord was with the Israelites, they were blessed, but the moment the Ark of the Lord was taken away from them, the glory of God departed from them. We too must be entwined with the Lord in our homes, always remembering His wonderful and mighty doings in our lives. God will surely continue to bless us and our families if we have reverence for His doings. 1 Chronicles 13:14 “And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.” The Ark of the Lord was returned to Israel, to a God-fearing home of Obededom, and the blessings were restored into the lives of the Israelites.
Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” It is a blessing to live with God, He is a great God, and remaining entwined with Him will always bring blessings into our lives, even as God was with Daniel and his friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego because they kept God close to them in every situation of their lives. Through them and their faith, many people feared and believed in God.
Our God is the same, even today. He has not changed, rather it is we who have changed. We have seen and experienced His love, yet we have forgotten the miracles we have seen in our lives. Our God is the same unchanging God, and He will never change. Because we have forgotten Him, today we are drowning in sorrow and pain in our lives. Different kinds of sicknesses drown us and take us further away from our Lord God. Fear is a big worry in our lives. But when God is with us, and when we walk through the waters, the rivers will not overflow us, neither will the fire consume us. Psalm 73:23 “Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.” When God is with us, he will hold our right hand. Yes, God takes care of us and holds us by our right hand. When we dwell amongst the Lord’s people, we will remain blessed and enjoy our lives with Him.
We have read a story in the Bible about a man possessed by demons, who, once he was released of this bondage, sat peacefully in the presence of God. Before meeting God, he was boisterous and could not be tamed, but after God released him from his bondage, he was calm and peaceful. Luke 8:38-39 “Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.” This man, once in bondage, ran through the whole city and spread the good news of what Jesus had done in his life. He knew how much he had suffered and hurt himself until his release. Imagine his burden in life, being possessed by the devil. But once he obtained deliverance, peace visited him, and he desired to be with God.
Each one of us should also remember the miracles God has done in our lives. How indebted we should be to Him? How much must we desire to dwell amongst His children and be with Him? The man in bondage realized the value of his freedom from bondage, so he desired to stay with the Lord. Here we see that the Lord Jesus called this man without any qualifications to serve Him. He called this man and told him ‘Spread the good news amongst men.’ This is how God’s service increases on this earth.
The Word says in Psalm 34:8 “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” Taste and see that the Lord is good, and you will be blessed. Acts 4:13 “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Peter and John had tasted God and gained the confidence to speak about God’s revelations. The people heard in disbelief, for they wondered how fishermen and uneducated men spoke with great wisdom of such revelations. We must keep our spiritual wisdom in control, and not display it unnecessarily. The devil is like a roaring lion, seeking to devour us all the time.
1 Peter 5:8-9 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” The devil knows that we are children of God and that God’s grace is upon us, hence he is always angry with us. He is angry with us even today, remembering the destruction in the temple of idols by the Ark of the Lord. God wants us to be vigilant and alert even today, for the moment we lose the grace of God and His holy fence around us, the devil will pounce on us and tear us apart.
The lion waits for its prey to be alone or separated, then it pounces upon it to kill it. When the animals are in a herd the lion cannot attack, but when alone or separated, then the lion will pounce on its prey. Similarly, God’s children must all learn to stay together and dwell together. We must always remain vigilant and alert for the Lord. 1 Peter 5:9 “Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” We must carry the Cross and be happy to work for the Lord all the time. When God is not within us, we lose His protection. The devil knows this very well and it is then that he will immediately pounce upon us.
As David said, we must give our right hand in God’s hand, then He will hold our hand and walk with us and lead the way for us. James 1:8-7 “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” “For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”
In our lives, we must never be double-minded, our decisions for the Lord must be strongly rooted in His path, with no two ways. We must give our right hand into God’s hand without any doubt, then we may rest assured that He will be the best guide for us. When God’s hand is upon us, we need not go seeking for blessings, rather, blessings will come seeking us. Not only that, but God will also constantly be with us and not let the rivers overflow over us or the fire consume us.
When God is with us, He will take care of us and our families, just as when the Ark of the Lord was amongst the Israelites, and the glory of God was always with them. Hence, we must never lose the grace of God in our lives.

Praise the Lord, my dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
It’s one of my favorite months of the year – the month of Harvest!
I am thankful for all the blessings my Lord JESUS has given me all year around, but Harvest is a time when we gather as a congregation to celebrate the Lord’s goodness in each of our lives.
Every day, the Lord shows His mercy on each of us in different ways and situations. It is up to us to understand the work of God and be thankful for it with every breath of our lives.
I am also thankful that God has kept our residents in good health throughout the year, and that He continues to do so.
Do continue to pray for our residents, today and always.

Praise the Lord! Last month the children were given a task to make a sketch showing how the Lord has given them good teachers in the form of our Pastor, as well as our Sunday school teachers. They also had to write a “Thank you note” to the Lord. The children made very good sketches and they thanked God in their sketches. They also explained the thoughts behind the sketches. Above all, JESUS is our teacher, and there is no one better than HIM!
The meaning of Harvest was explained to the children and how we should thank God for everything. Whatever we have in our lives comes only through the mercy and grace of God. As written in James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
Preparations are going on for the children’s Sunday School examination, where all the lessons taught to the children are being revised once again so that they can be ready for the examination. By the grace of God, the children are responding well to the lessons taught to them.
May God’s grace and mercy be upon our children. Do continue to keep all our little ones in your prayers
