Praise the Lord everyone. Wishes and prayers that all my readers are abiding under the mighty shadow of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Our God is a gracious and merciful God, and He has many blessings in store for us, both in heaven and on earth. Unless you believe in the works of God on earth, you will not be able to see the blessings that God has in store for you in heaven above.
Nicodemus, a ruler, and teacher to the Jews was a very learned man, yet he did not understand what Jesus was trying to explain to him. He watched Jesus’ work keenly and the miracles Jesus was performing. One night he came to Jesus and asked Him a question, to which Jesus answered. John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus continued talking to Jesus to clear his doubts. Finally, he asked Jesus “How is all this possible?”
Even today, many learned and wise men do not understand the secret of Jesus’ mighty doings. Christians who think they know the Bible well, still do not understand the true meaning of being ‘born again.’
The apostle Paul says in 1 Timothy 1:7 “Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.” Nicodemus was like this, hence Jesus answered him in John 3:9-10 “Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?” Nicodemus was a ruler of Jews; He was a learned man in a good position, yet he could not understand what Jesus was trying to teach him!
Today also the situation is the same. As the apostle Paul mentions, there are teachers of the law of God who do not want to understand who Jesus is, what God’s grace is, what the mercy of God is, and what God’s salvation is all about. Remember that there is a teacher above all teachers, and He is JESUS. He understands everything and is ready to teach us, provided we go to Him in faith! Then, just as a father teaches his child, He will explain to us the hidden secrets of the Bible, and this will be a spiritual awakening for us!
So, let us humble ourselves as children and be always ready to soak in what the Holy Spirit tries to teach us, for this will benefit our body, soul, and mind!
Till we meet again,

Praise the Lord. I had gone for my routine check-up, and everything was good by God’s grace. However, the next morning I got contraction pains and I was rushed to the hospital. The doctors treating me noticed that my blood pressure was once again very high. The doctor suggested a C-section delivery since the baby’s heart rate was dropping due to my high blood pressure. Pramod, my husband, called Pastor Saroja and told her all that the doctors had said. Pastor advised us to go ahead, and she assured us of her prayers. By the grace of God, we have since been blessed with a baby girl. We give millions of thanks to our Lord Almighty for my successful delivery and for blessing us with a baby girl. We also give lots of thanks to our Pastor for praying for us whenever we need.

Praise the Lord. For more than four years, I had not received my salary arrears. After many enquiries, the only reason I got from my workplace was that the Government did not have the funds to release arrears. I kept this matter under the Lord’s feet during fasting prayer. Pastor Saroja prayed over the prayer request, and thanks to our Lord’s grace and mercy, I received my arrears this month. My colleague had to bribe the senior officers to get his arrears, but the Lord in His time granted me my arrears without spending a single rupee. I give all glory to Lord Jesus for such a wonderful miracle in my life. I also thank Pastor Saroja for her fervent prayers.
Sis. Esther Patel, Thane, Maharashtra.
Praise the Lord. I had a patch in my underarm which was causing me a lot of trouble, along with severe pain and itching. I requested Pastor Saroja for prayers. Pastor fervently prayed for me. I am completely fine today. All glory and thanks to our dear Lord Jesus for healing me. I also thank Pastor Saroja for praying for me.

Once upon a time, there was a young man who worked at a factory. Whenever he faced certain problems, he would ask the Pastor for counselling. The Pastor would always suggest he talk less, do more, and never stop developing his skills in every aspect of the factory’s operation.
Ten years later the young man became a technician. He continued to do his work with the same dedication and diligence as he was taught.
One day he visited his Pastor, who saw that he seemed unhappy, and asked what was troubling him. The young man sighed and poured his heart out: “I have been following your instructions exactly all these years. No matter what I work on, I kept quiet and focus on the job. I know I have done good work at the factory, and I have learned all the skills that can be learned there. What I don’t understand is that the guys who don’t have my experience or capabilities have all been promoted, while I am still making as little as I did before.”
Then the Pastor asked: “Are you positive that you have become indispensable to the factory?” the young man nodded: “Yes.” The Pastor paced back and forth to think. After a while, he turned to the young man: “You must request a day-off using whatever reason you like. It’s time for you to give yourself a break.” “But, the second half is …” the Pastor was continuing to speak when the young man, thanked the Pastor and left quickly to make a time-off request.
When he returned to work after his day off, the manager called him into his office to tell him that things did not go well at the factory while he was gone. Others encountered many problems that normally would have been handled by him, and they had no idea how to solve them. Realising his importance, the manager decided to promote him to the position of senior technician, to thank him and encourage him to keep up the good work. The young man was grateful for his Pastor’s advice. Surely, he thought this was the secret to success!
From that point on, whenever the young man felt like he deserved more than what he was getting, he would take a day off. When he came back the next day, the situation would improve to his satisfaction. This pattern continued for months. One day, the young man found that he was blocked from going into the factory. Much to his shock, he found out that his employment was terminated. He could not believe it.
Not knowing what else to do, he went back to see his Pastor, to try to figure out why things had gone so wrong. “Why did I lose my job?” he asked with wounded pride. “Did I not do everything as you instructed?” “You did not, because you heard only half the lesson,” the Pastor replied. “You understood right away that no one pays any attention to a light bulb that is always on. It is only when it goes off that people suddenly take notice and realise they have been taking it for granted. You were so eager to apply this understanding that you left before hearing the second half.” “Second half?”
It dawned on the young man that perhaps he had made a big mistake. “What was the second half?”
The Pastor spoke slowly to make his point: “The second half, more important than the first, is the realisation that if a light bulb goes off frequently, then sooner or later it will be replaced with one that is more reliable. Who wants a light bulb that no one can count on to provide illumination?”
In our life too, it is important to not rush immediately when we get the Lord’s counselling which we feel is beneficial to us. But we have to wait and listen intently, to the complete advice, for there is always a “Second half”!
Daniel 12:1 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” This is Daniel’s revelation of the end times, as given to him by God. According to the Word, we must be prepared for the end times. Daniel 12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
Revelation 22:10 “And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.” During the time of Daniel, whatever God had to speak to the people, He would speak through King Nebuchadnezzar; and God would give Daniel the revelation for the Word spoken to Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel 2:29 “As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.” God communicated to Nebuchadnezzar in his dreams, and thereafter, its meaning/revelation would be given to Daniel. But later, God started speaking directly to the people face to face. As we have read in Daniel 12:4, God commanded Daniel to close the book. God said that it was not necessary to keep it open, for whosoever God wished to speak to, He would speak to, and they would know the right from the wrong and the good from the bad.
But, in Revelation 22:10, the Lord commands not to seal the saying of the prophecy of the Word but to keep the book open to all. To fulfill this revelation of God, Jesus was sent into this world. Jesus spoke to the people of this world freely and openly, as we see in the Holy Scriptures of Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John. In the New Testament, Jesus speaks of His second coming in 11 verses, out of the total of 1845 verses mentioning Jesus’ second coming. God was speaking to mankind and reminding them about the coming of end times, in different ways and different situations.
In heaven, there is a voice constantly speaking. What is that constant announcement? Revelation 22:11 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
In the olden times, the book was shut. The Word was opened and God’s Son, Jesus, openly preached of the end times and revealed all right and wrong to mankind. In the heavens, God is saying ‘despite speaking to all mankind about the end times, still, on this earth, let he that is unjust be unjust still, he that is filthy, let him be filthy still, he that is righteous, let him be righteous still, and he that is holy, let him be holy still; for, in the end, I will judge.’
Today we are in the end times. We must not continue in sin and unrighteousness. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to save us in this world. Daniel 12:1 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” Who were God’s children in the olden times? They were the children of Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac. Today, who are God’s children? They are those who have accepted Jesus Christ and have been cleansed by His blood. We see the love of God is so marvellous, His thoughts for us are so high, and He loves us so much, that He has provided us with Michael the Archangel to save and help us during the troubled end times. Those who love Jesus, who have accepted Him, and are cleansed by His blood are one with Him and they become His family. Jesus has provided the Archangel Michael to deliver His children during the end times. We cannot by our wisdom, knowledge, and strength, escape the tribulations of end times. It is only by the love and grace of God that we can be delivered.
Daniel 10:13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” From those times, the Archangel Michael has been helping God’s people.
Daniel 10:21 “But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.” The Archangel Michael has the strength to fight and defeat the devil and obtain victory. The Lord God says that to save His sons and daughters at the end times, and to help them face the tribulations of that time, He has provided for the Archangel Michael, who will rescue and deliver God’s children.
Jude 1:9 “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.”
Revelation 12:7 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.” The great Archangel Michael, along with his army of angels, fought the devil (dragon) and won the victory for us. The Lord God has provided strength and valour to this Archangel to deliver us from the enemy. In the end times, when the enemy will come with great strength to fight God’s children, God will prepare the Archangel Michael to fight for us. Our names must feature in the book of life. It is important for us to become the children of God, to be saved at the end times by the Archangel Michael. Unlike the olden times, the book is not closed today, and it is not a secret anymore. Our Lord Jesus Christ has come into this world and has opened the book for us. Yet, even today if we are disobedient to the Word and do not live according to the commandments of God, we must remember the announcement being constantly made in Heaven… Revelation 22:11 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” Surely, God’s second coming is the truth, and He has also prepared the Archangel Michael to rescue and deliver His children from this world. He knows each one of us by name, for we have become God’s beloved children.
Hebrews 1:14 “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Who has God sent the Angels for? It is for those who live in the love and fear of God, those who are entwined with Him, and those who abide with Him day and night. Yes, God has prepared these Ministering Angels (Spirits) for our sake.
When there are floods on this earth, we have seen how the government does much to rescue the people from perishing. They send air rescues, and boat rescues, and make rope-ways to save the people from drowning. Similarly, for the end times, God has prepared this army of Angels for us, for our rescue. Psalm 34:7 “The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” Those who fear and love God will be saved by the Angel of God who encamps around The Lord’s children. Psalm 91:11 “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” God will give His angels charge over us and keep us in all our ways. This is not only for the end times but even for now, for those of us who love God and fear Him.
In the Holy Scriptures, we read that God had prepared three Archangels for us – Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer. Pride came into Lucifer because of the mighty strength that God gave the Angels and the army of Angels that God gave under his command. Lucifer took pride in the fact that God had given him a huge army of angels to fight for His children. Because of this pride and ego, God cast him down from heaven, and while falling, Lucifer brought along a third of the angels from heaven with him down to the earth. Consequently, only two Archangels were left – the Archangel Michael, whose work is to save us, and the Archangel Gabriel, whose work is to carry our petitions to God and bring answers/messages from God to us.
Daniel 8:16 “And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.” The Archangel Gabriel’s job is to let us know God’s desire for our lives and to bring God’s messages to us. Daniel 9:21 “Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.”
Luke 1:19 “And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.” What does the Archangel Gabriel do? He always brings glad tidings / good news to us. God prepared the Archangel Michael to save us, and the Archangel Gabriel to bring us God’s glad tidings. During good times, and even during the not-so-good times, we must remember that the Archangel Gabriel is always watching over us and taking our petition to God and bringing back God’s message to us. We must therefore live our lives with fear and great care. The Lord is not the only one who watches over us, for the Archangel Gabriel also watches over us. Every word that comes out of our mouth, every thought and desire of our heart is known to him. Our lives must be conducted carefully in the love and fear of God. We must be righteous and pure for God.
Ecclesiastes 5:6 “Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?”
Often, we speak without thinking, and after speaking we say, ‘I am sorry, I did not mean this.’ Remember, the Angel watching over us, in anger, can destroy the works of our hands. When we sin against God, we must accept and confess our fault truthfully and thereby obtain God’s forgiveness. The Angel watching over us knows every truth, and nothing is hidden from him. We are not ordinary people in God’s sight, for we are His precious children; hence, to rescue and save us from the peril of the end times, God has given us the Archangel Michael and Gabriel to take care of us. Our name must be in God’s book. Our lives must be lived according to the Word we have read in Ecclesiastes 5:6. God says that whoever follows Him must carry His Cross too. What does this mean? People will always speak against the work and love of God, but when we know the truth, we know that what we are doing is right. God recognises this too, and so also does the Archangel Gabriel. Hence, there is no need to fear the world when we do what is right in God’s eyes.
Daniel 12:2 “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” After a man dies, the physical body is buried, but the soul goes to God to rest. A Christian burial is unlike a Muslim burial or a Hindu cremation. The Christian burial can be compared to the farmer who sows seeds and wants to see them sprout within a couple of days. With this faith, we bury our loved ones who die, believing that we will meet in heaven one day. Our body and soul are both precious to our God, for we are His very breath. Our Lord Jesus, who died and rose again on the third day, won over death, and thereby, He has made the way for us. 1 Corinthians 15:44 “It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.” There is a natural body and a spiritual body. Remember what the Angel said in Revelation 22:11 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” For those who do good, their soul is raised to heaven as a spiritual body, while for those who sin and do not fear God, their soul remains in their physical body on earth. In the case of Lazarus and the rich man, Lazarus died and became a spiritual body, who, after he died, was transported to Abraham’s bosom in heaven by the Angel. When the Rich man died, his physical body was sent into hell fire. There he cried out for ‘Father Abraham,’ which means that he was also a believer who knew God. Here we have seen the difference between the physical body and the spiritual body. There is no secret left, God has opened every secret to mankind and has kept the book of life open today.
We all have to leave this world one day, and we must know that we have to believe in God, live in His fear, and yearn to enter His Kingdom. In Lazarus’ life, the Archangel Gabriel was constantly watching over him. Lazarus lived in poverty and suffered in this world, with no food to eat and no decent clothes to wear. But we have seen his wonderful life after death. On his physical death, the Angel transported Lazarus’ soul to Abraham’s bosom. We have to be worthy today, to have a good end. Whatever the challenges we have to face in life today, God knows of them, and the Angel is watching over us. He knows the truth and the truth will prevail till the end. It is important for us to glorify and magnify God in our lives.
David was a King, but once when he started dancing for the Lord, he did not bother that his clothes had fallen off and that he was naked, but he continued dancing for the Lord. He glorified God, and all his shame was taken away. Never hesitate to praise and glorify our God. We all know the story of the three friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. What was their faith in God? They told King Nebuchadnezzar that the God they worshipped and praised was able to rescue them from the king’s hand, and the furnace. Yet, even if God did not rescue them, they stated that they were ready to die for Him, and so they refused to worship the golden image set up by the king. We too must have the same kind of courage as these three friends to say that the God we serve, worship, and praise will rescue us. However, if we do not have the truth within us, we will not be able to say the same to the enemy.
I Timothy 5:24 “Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.” For the Rich man and Lazarus, their fate was revealed after their death. Similarly, our results, good or bad, will be seen by us. In Mathew 25, Jesus preached about separating the good from the evil through the Parable of the Sheep and Goats, and the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins.
Revelation 20:11-12 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” There are two books in heaven, one that records everything, of small and great people; and another, the Book of Life, in which judgement is made according to our works.
Jesus said in Revelation 22:16 “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” God has kept His angels in every church, speaking to us, watching over us, and recording us. Jesus himself says ‘I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.’ No one can touch the glory of God. It is God’s message itself that the Archangel Gabriel brings to us. The Word that I am preaching is also the message from God alone.
Even before Jesus was born on this earth, many people died and reached the heavenly kingdom, even as we saw how Lazarus did. Isaiah 57:1-2 “The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.” God will lift and take away many righteous people into His Heavenly kingdom. He will not let them suffer much. This is God’s mercy upon the righteous. Only the wise will understand this, and not all will understand God’s plans. Our God is a great God, everything He does for us is for the best.
Always run your race in this world, even as Paul did. 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” When we have fought the good fight and finished the work on this earth, keeping our faith intact, we will be able to say the same. From the beginning, right from the time of Adam and Eve, God wanted man to prosper and increase in this world. God said the same to Noah too. Genesis 9:1 “And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” Today the earth is overfilled with people; also, it has become more sinful, for, with the increase of wisdom and knowledge, sin abounds the more in this world. Bombs are being made to destroy humanity, and chips are being inserted into the human body to control us; for the devil wants complete control of this world and its people. God realizes that this world is full and overflowing, hence He also desires His work to increase and fill every nook and corner of this world. God desires His light to be spread in this dark world, and His Word to be spread in every corner of this world.
Mathew 24:37-39 “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Even after Noah, God knew that the people of this world would continue to remain in sin, and that sin would carry on abounding in this world.
1 Corinthians 3:17 “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” We must trample under our feet every work of the devil that comes from within us, and destroy all evil plans against us. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost. We must not defile the temple i.e., our own body. When we fear God, fear His Word, and love God, only then will we keep ourselves from destruction. Malachi 4:2-3 “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Mathew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Our God takes pride in His work, and He desires that His Word be spread to the far ends of this earth. Before the end time comes, God wants that everyone should hear the glad tidings and the Gospel, and He has prepared for us Archangels like Michael and Gabriel.
God desires that His children be filled with His Holy Spirit. Joel 2:28-32 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.”
Our race on this earth must be run with great faith in the Lord God. Our God takes pride in His work on this earth. He anoints His children to do His work. Never hesitate to praise and glorify God’s holy name. He knows our hunger and thirst for Him. Remember, we are naked before God, and before His Archangels – Michael and Gabriel, that God has made ready for us.
Let God bless each one of us, and may this message bring blessings to our lives.

Praise the Lord everyone My best wishes and prayers are that all my readers are safe and healthy.
Our Rose of Sharon Church celebrated its 18th year anniversary on 14 July 2022. We had the Church Anniversary Service on that day followed by our Annual traditional lunch. The Lord had first blessed me with the Old Age home Ministry before He blessed me with the responsibility of the Church. I believe he put me on a probation period to assess if I would be worthy of being a shepherd to His Church. I am truly humbled that He found me capable of taking care of His congregation and His people.
As is the usual practice, the traditional Biryani and jalebis were distributed to all our residents and they relished every bit of it. God truly loves our residents, and I am very happy to see only His chosen ones in our Rose of Sharon Old Age home.
May God bless our residents, and I pray all of you continue to abide under the shadow of our mighty Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
God bless!

Surely, in today’s time where there is so much sin around us, teaching the little ones to be humble, grounded, and have the fear of the Lord at all times is extremely important.
The children at Sunday school are taught beautiful bible stories, week after week.
The Bible is the best book we can gift our kids, to let them know that it is the best ‘Life Guide’ one can possess.
It is a guide that can help one through every step of life, right from childhood to the last breath of their life. That is what our children at the Sunday School are taught.
This month the junior kids were taught the parable of the 10 virgins. This got them to think of how important it is to be prepared at all times, for the Lord’s coming.
So, little ways like obeying their parents, reading the bible, and praying daily will keep them ready each day for the Lord’s second coming.
Senior kids were taught about the life of David – of how, even when he was chosen to be King and knew Saul wanted to kill him, and he had an opportunity to kill Saul, David did not take advantage of it, but feared God; unlike Saul who departed from Gods ways, and who was jealous of David and chose to kill him.
All of these teachings were summed up in the general class conducted of questions based on the parables they learnt over the months.
